What a great cabin. The location was perfect for our family wedding weekend. The kitchen was very well appointed with more than adequate dinnerware for family entertaining. The entire cabin was very cozy….which was great due to lots and lots of rain. Parking was a challenge as there were only 2 assigned spaces for the 3 couples (3 vehicles) that stayed there. However, the realty company was helpful with finding a third spot for us since adjacent properties were empty. Would love to return to the property in nicer weather!

Cute cabin within walking distance of downtown. We especially enjoyed the screened porch on the back, where we could sit, see the leaves, and listen to the creek in the back. Would definitely recommend.

Great locations for girls weekend

My sisters and I stayed here for a girls weekend. We loved walking in and having the lights on, and everything looked very clean and welcoming. It rained a lot during our weekend so we did not attempt to walk to town, but I think it would be walkable if you have the right shoes. In between rain showers, we did use the hot tub and it worked very well. Even though there are houses on either side, this property feels very private. We enjoyed photographing nature down by the creek, but we did not get to use the fire pit. The decor is very nice and we enjoyed the screened porch so we could be outside even when it was raining. Everything we needed, we found in the house. Very well stocked. Communication with the rental company was easy, they texted and were very responsive,

Great family weekend

We loved the coziness and convenience of this cabin, but what ultimately sold our children was the amazing creekside area! They played for hours.

Convenient location and lovely setting

Best Highlands location ever!

This cottage is in an amazing location. It is only a very short walk to town and restaurants, but you feel like you are in the woods when you are at the cottage. The cottage is exactly as advertised. It is wonderfully stocked and very nicely furnished. Both master baths are very nice. The kitchen is more spacious than most, and the house appears to have been renovated in the not-too-distant past. he screened in deck is amazing, we enjoyed the spa, and adjacent creek adds to the ambiance. There are also hiking trails nearby -- you can take an easy hike all the way to Mirror lake. We have been to Highlands many times, and this is clearly our favorite location.

Highlands summer vacation

The property was very clean, nice bedrooms and kitchen, great screened in porch, outdoor area with fire pit close to small stream was very peaceful, and location is close to town. Everything we expected for a nice relaxing vacation.

AWESOME

We so enjoyed this homie welcoming property. The layout of the cabin was perfect. The hot tub the fire pit and that incredible stream with waterfall just feet from the fire pit was great! I felt like I wanted to ask the owners if they would sell it was that wonderful!!!! Thank you for an wonderful stay!

Lovely Highlands Cottage 5 minute walk to main street.

Three comfortable bedrooms for three couples attending a wedding. Exceptionally well equipped . Large open kitchen/great room. Lovely grounds with lots of porch space, outdoor hot tub, and fire pit next to a rushing stream.

Mill creek Ln. Highlands

The cabin was nice and spacious. I appreciate that some of the basics - paper towels, coffee, spices, etc. we’re there. The fire pit my the stream was nice. It is a longer walk to town than I thought, and sidewalks were not always there. The cabin was clean but the ceiling fans were very dirty. My daughters got in the hot tub last night and said it was disgusting and ran for the shower.

Loved our cottage!

We rented this cottage for three couples for our friends wedding. It exceeded expectations! The property staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, communication was easy, and the home was equipped with everything we needed. The backyard space was gorgeous and expansive. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for accommodations.
