What a great apartment. Everything was up excellent standards. Many extras like phone charging stations, smart TV with many choices, free wifi, well stocked kitchen, a balcony with a hammock just to name a few. The neighborhood was quiet. Thank you for letting us stay.

Central Hilo Location and Clean. Property in recent past seems to had a nice major renovation but does have some deferred maintenance issues. Over all with a some repairs could easily be brought up to a 5 star stay. Would definitely consider staying in this property again. A/C is a definite in Hilo

This condo is well kept and decorated beautifully with a lot of effort to keep the guest comfortable. When we checked in (myself and my 13yo son) we immediately smelled marijuana. The guests prior to us- who should honestly pay a massive fee for leaving such a smell on this condo that lasted for our visit and it was soaked in the pillows. There is a beautiful porch that is beautifully decorated with a hammock and a table and these people and their lack of respect for both the owner and the next guest really put a damper on our vacation. We left the doors open while we were there to try and air out the place. Also very inconsiderate to the neighbors who are right next door. The host was more than helpful, but every time we left and came back we were blasted with a pot smell. The bed is comfortable, there are many channels on the tv and the kitchen has all the appliances you would need. LocalPlaces that are a must- Kyla shaved Ice Pesto Cafe- The Luau pizza is a must! Cafe 100Ken’s House of pancakes for breakfast.The Hawaii Botanical Gardens are beautiful.

Our stay was truly exceptional,with a fantastic location, impeccable attention to detail, and a genuinely warm welcome. I do have one suggestion: considering adding Rubens Mexican to your recommened dining options, as it is a Hilo institution since1979. We actually made a special trip to Hilo to bring back a large order, and I highly recommend it to future guest. Mahalo for hosting us and we will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place.

Satisfied

The condo was exactly how it is advertised. Clean, comfortable, top of the line appliances, and away from the hustle and bustle of Merrie Monarch Activities but centrally located so you could participate and or attend any one of the many craft fairs. We loved it! If there is anything I could suggest it is to put up a full-body mirror. After all the shopping that takes place during MM week it would be nice to try on and see the clothes you purchased just in case you need to make exchanges.

Great Place in Hilo!

We spent two nights here and really liked this place. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was easy to find, park, gain access, and we even did laundry. Fairly close to downtown to drive for dinner. Host had an excellent book created with lots of details. Would stay here again if in Hilo area. Thanks Joe!

Very nice efficiency apartment, in a bit of a run down complex. Well stocked apartment. Near airport, and other activities around the area, including Volcano National Park (on of our favorites).

The condo was as described however, the complex sits in appears rundown. They’re Koi ponds didn’t seem to have any Koi in them. However, the location was good for getting in our car with free parking and traveling around the area of Hilo.

Centrally located; well appointed kitchen including a rice cooker. Would have liked more than 1 dinner fork. Excellent communication with the owner. Needs scouring cleanser like Barkeeper’s Friend for skillets. Could have used a broom and dustpan to sweep floor. Too bad the hallways look like a prison as this detracts from an otherwise very nice unit. Good for a short stay.

Sweet Stay

The property was just as advertised. The host was very responsive. The only major downside was the weather. Torrential rains every day so we could not enjoy the pool, scooters, or beaches. I won’t visit the Hilo side again during this time of year. Thanks for the experience.

Wonderful little home in central location of Hilo

We had a peaceful stay in this little house. The house has everything we need for the stay. The house is close to cafe, other shops, restaurants and even close to famous Rainbow falls. Parking is very convenient in front of the building. Please note that the building does not have elevator, but it was not at all a problem for us as house is on the 2nd floor. Would definitely recommend to others.

Beautiful place

Out of 6 places we stayed on our 3-island tour, this was far and away the nicest. Absolutely beautiful and fully equipped, including in-room access to a couple of e-scooters (additional cost, FYI, but still, wow!). We had a minor problem with the safe, the owner replied to our inquiry within minutes and solved the problem. A 10/10 stay.

Lovely Apartment

Nice studio with a king bed and a kitchen with everything you need for a short vacation. A cute small Lanai with a chain of lights and a cozy hammock. The host was quickl and reliably available when needed. Short drive to downtown hilo and the beaches are also a few minutes away. Everything was in order.

Great Hilo Location

Gardens condo was a great place for our short stay in Hilo. All the amenities you could ask for, plus great coffee. Check in was super easy and everything matched what was listed. Wish we had more time in Hilo to fully take advantage of what the condo offered.

The location was fairly close to Volcanoes National Park & very close to airport. It rained 2 of the three days we were there & we had 2 large heavy bags & there was no elevator. The studio apartment was spotless & well stocked
