Outstanding!

Location is everything!!! We liked being a little walk to the beach (7 minutes) and a drive from some of the busier locales. The beach was simply amazing! With the heat the way it was this week, having the resort with pools was also amazing! Beach bear had good eats, all common areas were clean, condo was beautiful and the residents and vacationers were all sooo friendly! Really amazing time, thank you!!

Had a great time. The place was as described and perfect for us. The beach is a short walk and we loved having the access to your beach chairs. The shuttle back and forth is convenient and the pool with The Beach Bear Bar and Restaurant is awesome! Highly recommend staying here!! We had a great stay!!

Family vacation

Overall, we had a fantastic trip. The condo was the right size for our family of 5.The property had access to a pool and the beach, which was nice. The only downfall was parking near our building. It was very crowded but at no fault to the property owner. Sometimes we had to search for places to park that were further away.

Perfect location

Our first trip to HHI did not disappoint! This condo was so beautifully decorated and conveniently located. We had 3 adults and 3 kids (5-15) staying. The walk to the ocean is a long but easy walk over the well maintained boardwalk across the beautiful marsh. There are intermittent golf cart shuttles to drive you across during peak season and the schedule is posted at each elevator. Bring cash to tip them! The beach was wonderful, not too crowded, the waves weren't overpowering for my 5 year old. The condo was clean and had almost everything we needed to make all of our meals and anything we didnt have, we were able to grab at the kroger which is almost across the street. We truly had the most wonderful time and would definitely stay here again in the future. Our hosts were so communicative and kind.

Location was key…

The condo was perfect for my mom and me. We walk over to the beach each day, enjoying the boardwalk and all the critters we saw as we crossed it. Coco’s was a must each night for a drink before heading in for the night.

Great Unit

Loved the larger 3 bedroom unit in a quiet corner of the building. Paige and Robert were very responsive with any questions or requests I had. We arrived a couple hours before the 4 pm check-in and they let us in early; which was very much appreciated after a long drive. We enjoyed the view of the golf course and partial view of the ocean. It was very nice having a beach cart, chairs and sand toys available. The AC worked great and felt good to come back to after some very hot days. It is a bit of a walk to the beach across the private boardwalk; but if you are alright with that, I would highly recommend this place.

Excellent family vacation!

We truly enjoyed our stay! This was a comfortable & welcoming home away-from-home. The property itself could use some updating, but this unit was beautifully updated, clean, and perfect for our family of 8! Paige was helpful, kind, and great with communicating all necessary information and details. We would definitely book again and highly recommend!

Just as advertised

We really enjoyed our mini vacation here. Everything was as described and the unit looks to be recently update. There were beach chairs, sand toys and a beach wagon that were all extremely useful and well maintained. We found our stay to be very comfortable and would definitely stay here again if and when we come back to HHI.

Fan and television broken in the kids bunk room, extremely low water pressure in master. I could hardly brush my teeth or wash my hands, toilet ran off and on all night. One of the “pillows” in the master was the size of a small, flat throw pillow.

Nice quiet Unit

The condo itself is a very nice quiet corner unit, opposite the elevator. You have a nice partial ocean view from the balcony. Pools and hot tub were all very clean and maintained. We found the beds comfortable, but the couches not so much, no big deal. Good location and central to most things we wanted to do. The Island Grill and Deli is right at the pool and super convenient. The one thing we didn’t love is that the seasonal shuttle didn’t run near as much as we expected. There are hours where it stops throughout the day, but there were a couple days it didn’t run at all. (Assuming due to weather) We had a family member that needed the shuttle to get to and from the beach due to the walk and the trips were limited. Overall great stay and we would stay here again. :)
