Having fun in the Sun Beach Villa

  • If you are looking for a place to stay at the beach and enjoy the outdoor beauty that Hilton Head Island has to offer, then look no further! Full disclosure - this isn't a luxury condo full of all the latest bells and whistles, but it is clean, comfortable and in a great location.
    Our 3rd row Beach Villa is at the private end of The Dunes and a skip across to the pool. This 2nd floor 2 bedroom Villa has a full bathroom in the Master Bedroom and full bathroom in the hallway, right next to the 2nd bedroom. The Master Bedroom has a spacious king sized bed with a full closet and the 2nd bedroom has a single bed, bunk beds and another full closet.
    Our flat screen TV has internet for cable tv, with access to Netflix, Amazon and several other popular streaming services. The kitchen is fully furnished, along with an HE washer/dryer. Villa comes with free WiFi.

Perfect place for a small family. Pool was great, easy access to beach. Stocked with all necessary linens and towels. No complaints about the condo. We did have our beach chair and beach tent stolen from the covered porch area. Luckily they didn't steal the surfboard I had rented. Just a heads up, be careful what you leave out on the porch area.

The condo resort itself was very nice, including an excellent heated pool, and a short walk to the beach. The grounds were well maintained and provided a great vacation atmosphere. Unfortunately the condo unit we stayed in did not meet our expectations. Given the amount of money we paid for our stay the lack of upgrades and overall condition of the unit was disappointing. We have been blessed to vacation on HHI for many years and plan to continue doing so. We value our experiences here so much that we felt it’s important to share our honest feed back.

The villa was clean and the beds were very comfy. Perfect accommodation for my husband and I and our 3 kids. Great location, a short walk to the beach & close to shops & Sea Pines. We had a wonderful vacation & we would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I have been coming down for the golf tournament the last few years. This place was perfect! Location allowed a quick walk to the shuttles and other local attractions.

Great Value

Really enjoyed staying here as it offered a great location close to Coligny Plaza/Beach and also Sea Pines nearby where our family wedding activities were located. Just across the street from the beach, so pricing was a really good value compared to some other locations with direct beach access.

The Dunes at Hilton Head

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was very close to the beach and walking/biking trails and offered all that we had hoped for. The property manager/owner was very helpful and was responsive to our questions and concerns. If our future vacation plans take us to Hilton Head, this will be the place we hope to call our home away from home.

property was very close to the beach. Nice walkway down to the beach with showers and access to a nice bar with music. Also only about a quarter mile to Cologny Circle which is a very nice public beach that has restrooms and showers, splash pad, and good shops and restaurants

This rental had everything we needed. It was clean and simple. The beds were comfortable and that’s always one of my biggest concerns when booking a place. The location is great. It’s super close to shopping and dining, plus the beach is a really close walk. Even though we were here at the beginning of peak season, the beach wasn’t crowded. I’d definitely recommend this VRBO rental.

Great location!!

We had everything we needed and more. My son also loved swimming in the pool. The beach was a short walk and restaurants/activities were nearby. This was a great Spring Break trip and the beach wasn’t crowded at all.

Lovely little unit. Perfect size for us. Clean, nicely appointed kitchen, comfy couch, and beds. This is second story unit, but steps were not too much to handle. Will definitely ge back.

Easy check in. The host sent a message when it was ready and we were able to check in a little early. The condo was perfect for our family of 4. It was clean and well kept. The community pool is clean. The area was quiet with little traffic. Easy beach access across the street. We look forward to booking next summer.

Great location

The condo was just as described. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. There is a little bit of a walk to the beach, but the paved walking path made the walk very easy and convenient. If you have very small children or older adults who have trouble walking for long distances it may be an issue. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Great location!!

Access to the beach was very easy. We were able to use the handicap spot in the public beach parking at the beginning of the parking lot. The stairway was full of mosquitos, so it was hard to keep all of them out when we opened the door to go in or out...but we only got a couple bites 🙂
