Spring Break

My family stayed at 47 Offshore over Easter break and absolutely loved the home and our overall stay. The property management team at Vacation Homes of HH were quick to respond to a lost item and to answer any questions in general. The checkin process was easy and the home was exactly as listed and even went beyond our expectations. The home is lovely, spacious and clean, but what we enjoyed the most was the private and well-equipped backyard. A pool and beautiful patio furniture, along with fun amenities such as a ping pong table in the garage, made our stay even better. We would love to come back and highly recommend this home and renting from Vacation Homes.

Great home, great location, but....

This is a great quality house that is well appointed, equipped, and furnished. However the great patio and deck area, and pool were filthy. Windows hadn't been washed in ages. I cleaned the windows myself. So, outside cleaning and maintenance are non-existent. We were there for 3 weeks and the pool and outside area were never cleaned except when we had to get VRBO involved in forcing a pool cleaning.

Bad experience overall

Where do I start? Before arriving we had issues locating the check in information. I was checking VRBO continuously for updates. Come to find out, this management company sent me an email that went to my junk folder with a link to download an app that held all important info. Not convenient in my opinion! We arrived on a Saturday evening and noticed the pool had not been cleaned in what looked like weeks. It was so full of leaves and debris that the pump wasn’t even running. The water was a green/yellow color and there was no way we would be swimming in it until it was cleaned. I immediately sent pictures to the rental company and got a quick response that they would “contact their team”. Long story short, the pool wasn’t cleaned until Monday at 4pm. The pool was so dirty it needed to be shocked, which meant we could not swim in it until Tuesday (3 days into our stay). My 5 year old daughter was super bummed. We were also promised it would get cleaned again Wednesday, that didn’t happen until I reached out again Thursday afternoon. The house was nothing spectacular. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets that we had to clean before eating off of. The house could definitely use some TLC. The beds are uncomfortable and the sheets feel like sandpaper. We lost water for 4 hours on Thursday due to a neighborhood upgrade? We never received our $1,000.00 credit towards bikes. Overall, we had a pretty rough stay and will never book with this company or at this property again.

Very clean and comfy!

Property was very clean, quiet, and sofas and beds are comfortable. The back yard is mostly shady (more than the photo) so if you have sunbathers in your group, they won't have much sun around the pool! The neighborhood is shady and absolutely gorgeous for for walking, running, or biking. Location is excellent - golf, restaurants, Starbucks, groceries, and a few shops are a very short drive away. If you want to save a couple of dollars when you get there, bring along a sponge to help with dishes, coffee filters, and a few extra laundry and dishwasher pods if you want to do more than one load during the week. This rental was a great stay for our party of four adults, and even with these small suggestions, we would highly recommend.

Fall retreat!

This is a wonderful property in one of the most beautiful communities in Hilton Head! The property is far enough away from the beach, so you do not have traffic or noise concerns, but close enough for a nice walk or bike ride! The home is well appointed and well kept with everything you will need for a stay. This was our second time staying at this property and it will not be our last!

An Island Treat

We thoroughly enjoyed this house and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone searching on VRBO. The outdoor space is absolutely wonderful and private, with plenty of room to spread out around the pool or at night around the fire pit. The VRBO listing indicated 3 BR/3 bathrooms which threw us a little since there are only 2.5 bathrooms, but we made it work. I noticed the listing by Vacation Homes of Hilton Head now states the correct number of bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked exceptionally well. The only suggestion I could make is possibly some more lamps in the living area. The property was also conveniently located to grocery stores and restaurants. We had an absolute blast and made ourselves at home right away!!

Great Vacation House!

Great house! Really enjoyed. Very nice and well stocked. Great outdoor area with pool, outdoor eating and lounging area. Great grill and fire pit and beautiful back yard. House was well stocked and we will be renting again.

Great Time with Family

This property was perfect for our family gathering. The layout worked perfect - master for couple with dog and 5 month old baby, parents took bedroom off pool on other side of house and son working from the VRBO took the room toward the front of the house with the standing desk which was perfect for him. The common areas were comfortable with plenty of room. The pool had a great blend of sun and shade. We enjoyed the grill for cooking and spent most evenings around the patio table after the baby went to bed for the night. GREAT STAY!!!

5-star retreat

This rental was a perfect fit for my family's 4-day Spring Break get-away. Comfortable, clean and spacious. We had such great weather, and the pool and deck were perfect for relaxing and enjoying some time outside. Very pleasant experience. Check-in / Check-out was smooth, and the staff managing the rental were friendly and easy to reach for questions ahead of our stay.

Quiet, Charming, Tranquil Area of Palmetto Dunes

We have never stayed in this area of Palmetto Dunes Resort and we were not disappointed by all it had to offer! It is a hidden gem, tucked away on a street lined by cozy arching trees. The home was nice, with all we needed for a last minute getaway.

True getaway

This home was amazing! Seems to be recently recently renovated and everything was up to date. The backyard was a true getaway with heated pool, fire pit, grill and plenty of seating. Being one story was great having elderly parents and a short dog in tow! We did mention to the rental company that a railing along the various levels of the patio and deck would be helpful to define the change in elevation for the elderly. The TV was challenging to work but the rental company helped with that also. Instructions printed in the home would be most helpful.
