Third year to stay in this home

We have stayed in this home 3 summers, this was the first time with BRBO and I must say the process was much easier and smoother. We love the location and the home in general. It is an older home but the location and beachfront makes it a great summer vacation spot.

Great time in Hilton Head

The property couldn't be beat. Having the ocean and pool was the best and was neede with the heat on our August vacation in HHI.

Beach Time

The house has the most amazing view of the ocean! The property was extremely clean. My family of 5 enjoyed the easy access to the beach and spent lots of time in the pool and on the back deck. What could make the house perfect would be adding a platform deck where the lounge chairs are behind the pool. The hill with pine straw is covered with ants and it’s not very inviting. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay in the house and would definitely return!!

The best spot for a family vacation

First off, this home was very clean when we arrived. We didn’t need to clean anything before unpacking, so kudos to your cleaning staff! This home had everything we needed for a fantastic family vacation. The bathrooms were gorgeous and we enjoyed that each room had its own bathroom. The pool and spa were wonderful. The location right on the beach and close to shops was exactly what we were looking for. The management company also responded quickly to questions. The home Alexa was a nice touch! We would highly recommend this property! Thank you for helping make our family vacation very enjoyable!

Great Location

We had a nice time at the house. The location is great for Hilton Head. The house was a great setup for us having the kids upstairs and the adults downstairs. The house had almost everything we needed. There was only one kitchen trash bag provided so we did need to buy some extras of those. We left them for the next guest. If any improvement could be made to the property it would be to install a deck where the pine straw and lounge chairs are. That is the best place to lay in the sun, but just a little awkward. Overall we had a great stay and would come back to this property in the future.

Excellent Property

Just a fabulous property all the way around. Looks exactly as listed. Plenty of parking. Ninja blender. A/C worked great. Room for plenty of folks. Bathrooms are super nice. The beach and pool being right there was a big hit. The pool was a bit dirty when we arrived, but with the palm trees and dune brush all around and the wind always blowing, I think a pool would be near impossible to keep clean 24/7. So we got it cleaned on day 2, and it was great. So, I recommend renters request a cleaning right before or upon arrival.

Great week!

We had a wonderful week; a family gathering long in the making and this became the perfect venue. Beautiful home, perfectly situated on the beach. Great parking with double side driveway. Each bedroom with a wonderful view and own bath. We cooked a good deal and the kitchen is very well appointed for all needs. A delightful family home. We had an issue with the spa which never got warm, so we gave up, which made little difference to our enjoyment. Gas grill did not work, but we just worked around that issue. Might have it looked at. We'll be recommending this property to friends! A gem.

Week at the beach

We were so excited to stay for a week in a rental property in HH. When we got there the hot tub didn’t work and the AC upstairs was also out. We didn’t feel that we got the value for paying full price for a home that wasn’t in working order . We contacted PMgr multiple times and still have not heard back. Steer clear of 133 dune Lane and this PM

Disappointed

House layout nice. Bring bath towels, pool loungers, what is supplied is very cheap. Window coverings cheap, a real pain to open and close( for sea turtles). Pool area very poor, poor layout, dirty, major biting ant infestation. Range top right side works, left does not. Over $1,000 to use spa? Ridiculous for the price you pay for rental. They’ll be charging to plug in the frig next, tacky move. Bedrooms and bathrooms nice. Won’t rent again. Message left with office, no return call.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a very nice home; however, a few issues were noted- the microwave doesn't work very well (timed cook doesn't work- you would have to press '1' for 1 minute for example, but no option for entering your own cook time); the bed in the downstairs king secondary bedroom needs a box spring or even a board as the mattress is falling through the support rails underneath making the bed very lumpy; and there should be floor mats on the inside of the sliding doors going out to the deck and pool to minimize tracking of sand. I constantly had to sweep up sand throughout the lower level as there is no way to wipe you feet coming in to the house. Also it would be helpful to spray the area around the pool for ants, as there were swarms of red ants on the path from the deck to the pool (and from the pool to the beach). It was impossible to go outside without shoes on, as we would get bitten immediately!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived at the property at 5:30 on Saturday. While settling in, we checked the pool temperature and it was cold. We pressed some buttons on the controls and seemed to get the spa going. The pool was also dirty with a lot of sand in the bottom. I texted the representative I had been in contact with prior to the trip upon arrival about the state of the pool and how to make it work (although when paying $1k -it should be ready and working. I received no response for almost 3 days. I spent over an hour cleaning dirt off the floors and counter when I arrived. A greasy spot was on the window in the room with the best view. Residue was on refrigerator handle and the carpets are disgusting with stains. Definitely does not look like the pristine pictures posted on VRBO. The location is great, but the house isn’t clean like or updated as expected and you won’t get a print response from customer service. I have still not received anything from upper management. We will absolutely not be staying here again. Early afternoon on Monday (3 days into our stay) a pool technician arrived and told us that the filter was dirty, hence the dirty pool and that the heater timer was set wrong, causing the spa to kick off frequently. After his visit, the pool started heating correctly and performed just fine on Monday evening and today (Tues). Don’t bother responding to this post, instead email me back and reimburse some of my “heating” cost that I paid for 5 days and got less than 2.

The home was wonderfully equipped for our group and the beachfront location afforded our group incredible views! We loved the homes convenient location in North Forest Beach, which made visiting other sites in Hilton Head so easy. The team at Vacation Homes of Hilton Head was spectacular to work with and we will definitely be reaching out on our next visit!

We had a great stay, but the property would be improved by adding additional area around the pool such as a deck. There was no great place to lay out.

Disappointed

I was charged to heat a spa which was non functional . Pool guy said it did not have a functional pump. Also they advertised in amenities an elevator..there was not one.. they also had adds on other websites stating there was an elevator.
