Public Pooping Property

Gorgeous house and very nice updates. However, I would never ever have reserved it had I realized the bathroom does not have a door. Yes, there is a barn door to the hallway with a huge crack that anyone can see you in the bathroom through. Also, this hallway leads to a bedroom that sleeps four people. So I guess, the person in the bathroom just knocks on the bedroom door and tells everyone not to go through the hallway to leave the bedroom until they finish whatever dirty duty it is they need to do. Then when they are finished, the hallway is full of the lovely aromas from said business. Does the owner not poop? Inquiring minds wonder…. For gosh sake, put a freaking door on the bathroom for non-social poopers, and save me your “open concept” nonsense you tried on other reviewers.

The property was nice, but it need to be re-cleaned when I got there because there was pet hair and dander everywhere and it was affecting my allergies. They were very responsive in getting this done but then the drain in the master bath shower clogged and they didn’t fix it And not put a damper on my trip towards the end.

Great location, very well equipped kitchen

Our family of 5 spent Thanksgiving here. We had a fantastic stay. The kitchen was really well equipped which can be rare in a rental and we really appreciated that. It's walking distance to the beach and we enjoyed the pickleball courts. It was also amazing that it was dog friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

I had a conference at the Hilton Beach front resort in Palmetto Dunes and this was perfect walking distance to the conference and the beach in the evening. Very clean and pet friendly, we really appreciated that.

Great Condo

Great condo in Queen’s Grant! Fully renovated and Beachy vibe- perfect for a vacation. It was just my husband, our two little dogs, and me. I tried to book it on my phone app while at the beach to extend our stay and searched under “pet friendly” it gave me a total for our dates, but I evidently failed to check the box I had pets so the total wasn’t accurate, so be sure and check the box! It all god worked out and ended well. Great place to stay for some extra beach time!

Overall nice place . Wasn’t as clean as expected .. we had a baby that crawled on the floor and was filthy. The throw rugs need cleaned . The shower in the spare room needs a good scrub especially the floor . Just a few things I thought needed mentioned .

We’ve been coming to palemetto dunes for years and this property was wonderful. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to general store. Walk to the beach was less than a mile. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Spring Break Location

Had a really nice stay for Spring Break with our family and pooch. The condo is an easy walk to the beach and to Shelter Cove that has a bunch of food and shopping options. We made good use of the beach toys, wagon, and chairs and knowing they were going to be available me really helped with packing for the trip. Communication with the property manager was easy, and he was really responsive when we ended up needing a second parking pass after a last minute change in our travel plans. Highly recommend the location, property, and island in general.

Very nice place, but a lot of construction!

This is no fault of the property and is not a reflection on it, however there was a lot of remodeling work being done on the surrounding properties. They were very noisy (loud radios with heavy metal music, sawing and general construction noise). This made it difficult to enjoy the outside area of the property. Each unit is allowed two parking spaces, however the contractors working on one property had at any given time up to 4 large trucks parked in the lot. At times this made it difficult to navigate the parking. I feel that contractors doing work on a property should have specific guidelines that they need to follow, such a limit to how many trucks parked at the property as well as noise restrictions. I realize that they are going to make noise but some of my experience could have been avoided if simple care would have been taken to limit the amount of noise.

Our SnowBird Adventure

We rented for a month to escape the cold & snow this winter! We brought our pups & they loved it as much as we did! And they made a lot of new dog friends on our walks. The condo was everything as described. We have been to the island a lot and I must say Palmetto Dunes has been our favorite yet! Loved all of the bike trails, golf, pickle ball and ease of walking to the beach! The owners & property manager were great to work with. This condo felt like our home away from home instantly. We will miss the beautiful SC coast but we will definitely be back to stay again! ❤️🌴🏖️

Family vacation

The villa was beautifully decorated and had plenty of room for our family of 6. It was also clean and everything was provided, including beach chairs. The only complaint we had was no matter what you did water leaked out of the guest shower door on to the floor but as long as you had a towel down it was manageable.
