The house was more than we could have hoped for. We were a family of 15 and we never felt crowded. So many seating options for eating. We cooked at the house every night except one and we found every appliance, dish, bowl, etc. that we needed. Having an extra refrigerator and freezer downstairs was very handy. Everyone had a great time!

Relaxing Family Vacation

This is an exceptional home for a family gathering. Everything is as it appears and beautifully decorated. Love the open floor plan with lots of gathering spaces to accommodate everyone. It is well equipped with all the things you need to enjoy your stay at the beach. The screened in porch is a lovely place to spend some quiet time. I would definitely recommend this home! Beautiful!

Great for a group

The property is so beautiful and very clean. It’s in a perfect location just a few steps from the beach and a short walk to shops. We also rented the house next door with another group of friends in it and it was so nice to all be together. After talking to everyone in both houses, we all agree the houses were had plenty of space for big groups and very convenient that the back yards could be shared. Only negative was that the beds are very uncomfortable and the elevator didn’t work for getting our bags and groceries up and down. Oh and hurricane Debby!! She was a big negative!!!

Wonderful Home in Perfect Location!

We had an amazing week at this beautiful property. We had 10 adults and 4 kids with plenty of room and bathrooms for everyone. We loved the large open layout on the main floor that allowed us to all be in the same area but not crowded. The beach was a just a short 5 min walk and we spent most of our time at either the beach or the lovely pool. This section of beach was never crowded and the sand was clean and soft. We also rented bikes and enjoyed how close we were to the shops, restaurants, and park. The beds were a little hard but most of us slept just fine. There were lots of extras such as wireless vacuum, ice machine, plenty of beach chairs, wagons, cooler, etc. The checkin process was easy and owner was accessible to answer questions. Thank you! We hope to come back in a few years.

Ideal for Multigenerational Family

We had a wonderful stay at HHI, SC! Our group, comprised of 15 people aged 3 to 75, was very pleased with the home. The rental contacted us a few weeks before our trip and provided a digital guidebook that answered all our questions. Communication leading up to the trip and during our stay was excellent. The home is well-maintained inside and out, clean, well-appointed, and in an excellent location. Our group especially appreciated the large bedrooms and closets, but each room having it's own attached bathroom was the real MVP. The provided beach towels, chairs, and sand toys were a nice touch. The only drawbacks for our group were the slightly smaller kitchen and limited pantry staples, as we prefer to cook at home. However, the home is conveniently located for quick access to any needed items. Another thing to note is that the house is in a large shared lot with another rental house. While not an issue during our stay, it took some getting used to on the first day. The walk to the beach is short and easy, and the house is right along the North Forest Beach bike trail, which is great! The passing of people throughout the day made us feel surrounded by excitement without being in a crowded, noisy, commercialized place. All in all, we were so pleased with the home and our stay that we are talking about returning to the same spot next year.

LOVED IT

One of the best VRBOs we have ever used in any location. The space is very large, modern, and just a few blocks from a fairly private beach. LOVED the stay. The property managers are also SUPER kind and available for the duration of the stay!

My entire family stayed a week here and had a great time. The place was clean and near to the beach and shopping and restaurants. It was large enough that we were not in each other’s way. We had space to sit and talk and also play games. Speaking of games the house also had all the latest games that the children and grandchildren enjoyed.. we will be back.

Thankful!

Spent Thanksgiving week with our family of 10. This house was perfect for us! Location was super (easy walk to beach and other activities). Room enough to gather in different areas of the house or to have a quiet spot to chill/read/breathe! There were plenty of utensils/dishes/serving/, etc. that were needed. Pool and spa were an added amenity. Also, Rena was very responsive as needed. The beach/pool supplies were great, and plentiful, to have on location instead of packing it all from home.

Big and spacious. Better for older kids

Really big and nice place. Better suited for families with children 5 and up. We had a couple of toddlers. The pool wasn’t kid friendly (sharp edges and smaller than pictures indicated) and there isn’t privacy with the other house you share a yard with. The AC also didn’t work well. But really great location and kept up well. Property manager was responsive and helpful.

Awesome home!

This was the perfect house for our 18-member family! It was perfectly situated for accessing the beach and Coligney plaza on foot or by bicycle. When going to either got old, all headed to the pool. The property also provided plenty of games to be played near the pool. The kitchen is fabulous. My favorite spot was the screened-in porch. Finally, I want to compliment Rena, the property manager. She was very helpful.
