I’m big on having a well stocked kitchen and this condo exceeded my expectations! My family also found the furniture and beds very comfortable. The condo is close to golf courses, the beach, stores, and walking/bike paths. I didn’t give a 5 because there are some maintenance items that needs attention such as quarter round in entry, very squeaky stairs, uneven flooring upstairs, very hard to lock patio door on back patio. I would stay here again. One final note, the property manager was very easy to work with.

Spectacular long weekend at Jon and Donna’s home! Beautiful home and a gorgeous view, and so close to everything. They’ve thought of so many little details that make all the difference. Will absolutely return!

Great stay!

Upon arriving, the condo was exactly as described! It was very clean and had everything we wanted and needed. Having the beach chairs, toys and towels was an added bonus. There was a perfect view of the golf tee and the pool was literally across the street. The pool is wonderful and has plenty of tables and seating! All the neighbors we met at the pool were extremely nice. I can’t say enough about our stay. We were very pleased and the hosts were exceptional! Thank you, Jon and Donna

RBC Heritage Trip

Spent a great 4 days in Hilton Head for the RBC Heritage. Also played some golf at the course where the property is located. Property was very spacious for all my guests and the location was fantastic for access to restaurants, shopping and the beach. Looking forward to next years tournament.

Family vacation

Clean home with plenty of space for adults and kiddos. The home was stocked with plenty of things for the pool and beach...boogie boards, beach toys, beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels. and coolers There was even a portable speaker and a cart to carry everything in. Conveniently located a short bike ride to Coligny Beach and you can also access a beach within the Shipyard property. Strongly recommend biking to either beach if possible because parking is rather limited depending on the time of year. Also, the community pool is right across the parking lot from the home! We enjoyed the stay!

Wonderful Stay in Hilton Head

Beautiful clean calm updated space perfect for families with lots of indoor outdoor space. Our family had an amazing week in Hilton Head. Even with 2 days of Hurricane Debby this home was an amazing refuge with plenty of space to spread out and relax. Located directly across from the pool this place has all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay.

Love the location - on the golf course, directly across from pool. Access to the pickleball court is great. Condo is spacious & bright; furniture & mattresses are comfortable. Love the all-clad cookware. Plenty of nice tupperware. Condo is well cleaned. Jon & Donna were great to work with.

Better than advertised

We loved the place when we found it on VRBO's website, it was even better in person. Plenty of space for our family to have room to spread out. Location was wonderful. We used the pickle ball courts several times. Shipyard is a gem on HHI, and this unit was perfect.

Graduation Vacation

We chose Hilton Head Island for my son’s Highschool Graduation Vacation. And we were very pleased with our stay! The open floor plan was amazing and beautiful. Private access to the beach was the best part. The location of this unit was perfect having the pool directly across the street. Very clean. Very spacious. And we loved it. Hope to return soon. Only downfall was being aware of copperhead snakes and wasps nest on upstairs balcony. The surrounding nature and scenery of Shipyard was gorgeous with the bike paths and huge trees. Overall my family and I highly recommend this rental.

Great stay in Shipyard

This Vrbo was great for our family and our friends, both of which had 5 yr old kids. The swimming pool was right across the parking lot from the unit and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed the bike paths in the community and the communication with the host was excellent. We left one item behind and they continued to communicate with us to ensure we got it back after we returned home. We would recommend.

Location a plus for this Shipyard VRBO

We were there for the Heritage and rented bikes. Having been to HHI numerous times, we weren't unfamiliar with the area, but had not stayed in Golfmaster area before in Shipyard. Beyond the location being great (right on the golf course too), the space was perfect for a small or large group. Nice kitchen area (2 sinks), place to relax indoors and outdoors on back patio. Neighbors were all great too, no issues with noise or overcrowding. Communication with owners and check-in was easy. Minor things to be aware, lots of light coming in the front/door window area adjacent to laundry closet (no shade/curtain - but would recommend); also a fairly significant step down in one of the bathrooms in upstairs bedroom (pseudo master area). Wifi was noticeably slow (i.e, TV streaming) when more than 2 devices were engaged at a time. Again, minor things but to be aware of. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

That View...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay in your beautiful home. The house is lovely and the open 1st floor was just what we wanted. They had done alot of updates and upgrades. All the bedrooms were nice size and have bathrooms in each. And to have 2 king beds was a huge plus. The kitchen was fully stocked with Everything you would possibly need! Brand new appliances too! We loved that the area was gated and had security driving through frequently. We felt very safe. The house itself felt private. And the location was so close to everything. OK now the 2 top things we loved was the view of the 8th tee box at Shipyard Golf Course. Just amazing. It was very relaxing to watch the golfers, birds and alligators! Last but certainly not least the 2nd is a huge thank you to Donna and Jon for your attention and immediate response. You were so great. It was a pleasure to meet you both. Same time next year! We are already looking forward to it!

Great location, very well maintained

This property was in excellent condition, perfectly clean and maintained. It was quiet and in a very nice location on a golf course that we played. There was one initial issue that the host resolved immediately, and that was much appreciated. The three of us agreed that we would enjoy staying on this property again.

101 Golfmaster

We have stayed at several different Shipyard locations in the past. This was our first time in Golfmaster. The pool was great - large with partial shade. The access to the pickle ball courts was a special treat - able to play my spouse and my son who was in another unit with his family. I loved our unit’s location with the view of the golf course. The 2 king sized beds and the bunk bed in the third bedroom were great. Overall quite memorable vacation with early morning walks on the beach with my son, playing on the beach and pool with my granddaughter, swimming and pickle ball with my husband and great places to eat.

Cozy spot with many accommodations

Our family of five greatly enjoyed this getaway. The villa was packed full of extras to meet our needs; especially for young kids. Very spacious place with lots of privacy. Great pool and easy bike ride to the beach. Additionally, the location allows for easy access to South HHI fun (i.e. Coligny, Shelter Cove, Sea Pines, etc.). Thanks for the stay!

Perfect beach condo

Condo was centrally located in a beautiful neighborhood. Rented bikes and everything was within 10 min ride (beach, shops, etc). Condo well apppointed and nicely decorated. Beautiful views of the golf course. Pool and tennis courts just steps away. Manager was very responsive with any issues we has and also provided recommendations. Would stay here again!
