Quite Good, Could Be A Little Better

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our experience at Palmetto Dunes was quite good. Nice, clean accommodations, reasonable prices, lots of amenities. On the downside, there are no EV charging stations in Palmetto Dunes; the resort needs to get with it and install at least a dozen in convenient locations throughout this very large property. Also, there did not appear to be a place with a full breakfast, which would be nice. Nonetheless, the three golf courses were in great shape, with friendly staff. The pickleball facilities were wonderful. Our little condo came with pool access, including lots of shade. Alexanders is a very nice place for dinner, and getting around was pretty easy. We were there primarily for golf, and for couples golf Palmetto Dunes was quite reasonable and fun.

Disappointing unit

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love PD and have rented through PD for many years. We have even stayed in this unit a few years ago. The unit has declined. The entry has old, junky bicycles chained up. The pillows are flat and bedding musty. There was so much junk in closets, it was difficult to put our things away. Dishwasher needs service as it leaves a moldy smell on dishes; we hand washed. Utensils need addressed. The toaster doesn’t work, nor does the garbage disposal. The sink drain in the master bath is broken and had to be pried up manually to drain. One of the dining chairs is broken. AC and washer/dryer work great. There is quite a bit of corrosion build up at base of water heater, so there could be problems soon. We love visiting Palmetto Dunes, and had a great time. This unit just needs some basic maintenance and clean out.

Terrific July 4th Weekend in Palmetto Dunes

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great holiday weekend at PD! This was our first time staying at St. Andrews Common. Unit 1852 was clean and well-maintained, just as described. The unit is in the back of the community and very quiet. The PD team provided all the information that we needed to enjoy the unit and resort. They even arranged transportation to the fireworks. The discount card was appreciated when we enjoyed meals at The Dunes House. Looking forward to our next visit!

Second stay at Palmetto Dunes

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Second stay at Palmetto Dunes. Great accommodations. Very clean and quiet. Perfect size for the 2 of us. Only negative is 4pm ck-in, 10am ck-out, so a 4 day stay is really only 2 days!

Very clean and comfortable.Reservation experience was wonderful. The check in experience left a lot to be desired. The young lady who checked us in barely acknowledged we were there. She was like a robot just going through her process.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is perfect with a short walk to the shops and restaurants in Shelter Cove and to golf, tennis and pickle ball. It is a short drive to the beach.Everything in the villa is old but in working order.The kitchen is not well equipped for a long stay.The laminate flooring was not clean and the shower room requires renovation.There is too much owner 'stuff' in the unit so storage space for visitors is insufficient.

Updated & Great Location!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This lovely one bedroom is very tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. The location is toward the back, so far from the main road and quiet. It is in great condition and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Pillows could use replacing. Lacking a dresser in the bedroom, and closet is filled with lamps and various household items, forcing us to live out of suitcases on the floor all week. Not the most convenient. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and utensils, but lacked in measuring cups. Also important to note that it is not stocked with spices, salt and pepper, or any kind of plastic wrap, bags, etc. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would choose this rental again.

We came back 2 hours later and asked it it was ready, they said no, again without looking into it. 15minutes later, after we walked away, they called us to say it was ready. At the end of the stay they were not helpful with securing a taxi/ride to the airport. I’ve appreciated being allowed to leave our luggage in the welcome center when we did not have access to our site. The villa was nice, however the sink emminated a sewage smell and the toilets always were running. We would always Have to adjust the seal in the back.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The girls at the front desk are amazing. Friendly professional and kind. Our unit was relatively clean with a few problems that were kind of worked out. Little things like tv volume washing machine dryer. The biggest thing was to arrive to our unit and find that something had been killed on our back deck and it was over grown full of feathers. Basically looked like there was a **** fight. After I trimmed some trees raked out the feathers and the maintenance fixed the washer dryer. Our unit was really nice. The tv guy was unable to fix the volume but was a nice young man that brought over ruku. Lessons at the tennis center are well done. Hank works hard to make everyone comfortable and become better players. For golf lesson Doug Weaver and his staff of Ed Brill and Edward Sires make you feel at home with clinics and lessons. Class acts. Spent most days at the hills course, where from the moment you enter the door You are greeted by Mark Trish or one of his staff. Till the moment you drop off your cart. They were kind curtious and professional. All courses offer similar treatment George at Fazio and micheal and Wes at Jones. Also class acts.

Wonderful location and cozy property!

We couldn't be happier with the location - easy bike ride to beach, restaurants, etc. Central location makes it ideal for whatever you want to do. 5-10 min bike ride to the beach.

Cutest place ever!

Spent a week here, property was lovely! Exactly as listed in the pictures, very clean and well equipped. Nice location if you don’t mind biking everywhere (which I definitely recommend). Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Very nice villa

Perfect villa for the two of us to get away for the weekend. It was private, well decorated, clean and had everything you needed. We brought our bikes and it was an easy ride to the beach access.

Great choice

We’ve always stayed in the hotel. This time we tried a villa. The hotel is a thing of the past. The villa was great and has a upgrade kitchen and floors. It was very cozy.
