Nice Condo with Beach Access

This was a nice little property to stay in. My husband and I had plenty of space and everything was as advertised. Would definitely stay here again!

Beach Getaway

Nice place. Bathroom upgrades are great. Kitchen could use some. Condo was furthest from the beach and pool, but still a quick, manageable walk (or you could just drive). Condo provided beach chairs, tent, umbrella and sand toy's, which was a huge bonus. Second bedroom with three beds great for a family of 5. Would stay again.

Annual Getaway

Me and my partner meet my brother and sister-in-law in HHI every year and we repeatedly stay at this property. It is clean, the owners are very nice and communicative, and the property feels safe.

So Perfect!

Our condo was just as described! Clean, bright, short walk to the beach/pool/snack hut. This is our 3rd year staying at HH Beach & Tennis resort and our family loves it! Condo management is quick to reply and let us know when we left behind articles after check out! Thank you for another great stay!

Very nice condo!

We all had a great time. The condo is a bit of a walk from the pool/beach area, but we just jumped in the car and parked closer, so it wasn't a big deal for us at all. There was plenty of space to park closer to the pool. The condo was very well kept and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Stay

Exactly what we were looking for. The resort has excellent facilities for the kids, pickleball, tennis, pool, beach and restaurant, to name a few. Walk to the facilities is a little far, but everything is located on the resort and you do not need to go off property. Our family is active and so we had no problem with moving around to the different facilities.

We enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time. There was plenty of room for the cool moms and their 3 teenage boys. The boys enjoyed the ease of takeout restaurants on the property at night. The condo is a short walk to the beach. It was helpful having the boys carry the cooler for the walk. We would definately come back.

Nicely renovated bathrooms but broken freezer

The condo was clean. The carpet looked a little old and worn but the bathrooms were both nicely renovated. It is a decent walk to the pool/beach so I would definitely recommend getting bikes or driving and parking closer. The kitchen was well stocked with tools but unfortunately, there was a problem with the freezer during our stay. On the second day, we woke up to melted ice, popsicles, and ice cream. I reached out to the property manager and the response was "Thanks for the heads up." so if anything goes wrong that isn't an absolute emergency I guess you are on your own.

Hilton Head Island Getaway

Loved the island, loved the atmosphere. This was our first time booking through VRBO. I now have a better idea of what to look for. The condo was older maybe built in the late 70's or early 80's or so. We had an infant with us which made me take note of the condition of the carpet. Looked like it could have used a good shampooing. Found old food under the cushions of the sofa. Looked like it had been awhile since it had cleaned. My son attempted to plug in his phone on an outlet along the wall and it ended up popping a circuit. The way the lamps were wired in the rooms makes me think the owner knows there is an electrical problem and just didn't say anything. Was disappointed there was no washer and dryer in the unit. Would have come in handy the days we went to the beach. With three small children we found it easier to drive to the larger pool and beach entrance, was near impossible to walk the distance with a six year old, five year old, and 8 month old. We just loaded up the family and all of our beach gear in our vehicle and parked near our destination. Enjoyed the fact that the community puts on different events every night during the summer. We tried to take the kids to movie night at the pool on Monday, but someone's child had an accident in the pool which led to it's closing for the afternoon. Enjoyed our time, and were sad our vacation had come to an end. Not certain if we would stay here again. In the future we will probably try to find something more modern with a washer and dryer.

Vacaciones en el A16

El lugar nada q ver con el anuncio en la pagina de internet decia q estariamos frente a una piscina y nos toco los apartamentos mas viejos y escondidos. . La limpieza no estaba mal pero el lugar tiene un olor feo, las ventanas del deck esta super sucias. Aun asi disfrutamos de nuetsra estadia.

Perfect spot for beach/pool fun

The girlfriends and I had a great time here. The tiki bar restaurant was delicious and the on-site restaurant had pool, darts, and music while also being a fun evening restaurant. The property manager was so easy to contact, answered all my questions, and was very helpful with directing me when asked for assistance. We had no issues with the property, except for the lack of elevator. But we knew that going in and thankfully we were only on the second landing. Will definitely be staying again.

A16 Tennis

The area as a whole is beautiful. The check in process was awful. The front desk lady was very rude and unapproachable. Acted as though we should know the ropes. It was our first time on the island. Would definitely return just not sure with this resort. Highly recommend them doing something for ease to the convention center. Seemed silly to have to walk all the way around when it's literally across the parking lot.

Stay elsewhere

We traveled at night so that our children would sleep on the way there. Once we arrived, we checked in at the gaurd gate as the email we received told us to. We were told that there was no parking pass or key left for us. They eventually solved the parking pass issue, but told me that they could let me in the room but could not give me the key, and that I should've received code from the owner. I contacted the owner who called me and said that he only had a couple of minutes to talk, but that I should've received that information in another email. There seemed to be a lot of miscommunication between the owner and the rental agency. The condo was very dirty (dirt in the sinks and tubs, food on the cabinets and back of stove, fingernail on the end table, stained towels, and tons of dust). The beds were comfortable, but had a plastic cover on it with cheap sheets that wouldn't stay on the bed. There weren't any extra blankets or any in the living room, but the cleaning service brought some by our second day there. Overall, I think the unit was missing the "at home" feeling that you look for when you stay somewhere for several nights. The walk to the beach wasn't terrible and the pool by the ocean and bar was nice. With all of the negatives I would NOT recommend staying in this unit.

It was not ocean Front.

Property was listed as ocean front Oceanview it absolutely was not. I am Disabled and it was too far to walk to the beach. Very Disappointing. The Property inside was OK except for the neighbor below who change smoked all day long And made it impossible to sit out on the porch.

nice and quiet location

This was a nice quiet location with a short walk to the beach. Everyone was so friendly. If you ever stay in this condo, be sure to say Hi to the neighbor below. She is very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Tell Her Judy and Mike said Hi! Thank you Joe, Peter and John for sharing your home. We had a wonderful time!
