“Had many past places say it was secluded & wasn’t. This place definitely was secluded. Was a nice place to unplug but not to far to join the public (40 min drive). Walking in is surprising…. But main living is on the second floor. Very relaxing atmosphere. Was very clean. We usually don’t go to the same place twice but this property is on the list to revisit. Also feeding the horses was a nice touch. ”

“We loved this little, secluded cabin! It was perfect for what we wanted. Our dogs were able to roam the yard freely in the open yard without worry. We loved the yard for playing games, lots of fishing took place, and ended the day in the hot tub! If you want a nice private cabin the whole family will enjoy then this is the one!! ”

“My friend and I stayed here on a hiking trip to New River Gorge National Park. The property is cute and quaint, with thoughtful details in every room, nook, and cranny. The upstairs loft is spacious and cozy, the perfect place to serve as an extra bedroom, kids room, or play room. The outdoor hot tub and sauna were great and had a beautiful view of WV wilderness. Nikki was responsive and kind. I would love to stay here again someday and I highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area!”

“The house is perfect and the space is completely immaculate. To be clear the front porch faces what looks like a gas station but actually is a country store ran by the nicest family. The right side of the house offers gorgeous river views. We were comfortable we absolutely loved our time down by the river. We had a fire we went fishing. It’s one of the best family trips we’ve taken.”

“We needed a dog friendly place to base our New River Gorge trip and this fit the bill. Plenty of room and everything went smoothly. No dishwasher so you'll have to hand wash any dishes you use but that's not a huge issue. The window unit air conditioners worked well enough we were quite comfortable.I would add that you are parking in front of the left hand garage door but you are staying in the main house. The keypad is on the back sun room door. ”
