“Room was clean although the bathroom could do with a deep clean (shower area). Staff were very pleasant and the food was delicious. One of the main reasons for booking the Waddington Arms was that the website said they have an EV charger. Upon arrival we found out that it had been removed last year, luckily enough I was able to charge up in clitheroe. I would go back regardless of the lack of charger, although it would have been a bonus”

“Such a great place to stay for a couple of nights. The staff are excellent; friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts were excellent, too. And our twin room was very comfortable - very comfy beds and excellent shower en-suite. Very nice touches in lots of ways. We ate dinner both nights and were very impressed with both the quality and quantity of the meals. We really hope we will have another visit! ”

We thought the main bedding could be better with a bit more blackout curtain/blinds as the ambient lights outside were on for a longer period at night - these are some feedback for the sake of it. “This was our second stay at The Tavern and we will most definitely return. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have all the amenities available. This time we stayed in the room with the amazing bath. Sadly we didn’t have chance to use it as only stayed for one night. The breakfast is wonderful and certainly set us up for the day. The owners and staff are all very friendly. We look forward to our next visit. ”
