Livin on the Edge on the Caddo River

  • Beautiful cabin on the banks of the Caddo River.

    An amazing breezeway allows guests to sit inside and enjoy the outside at the same time.

    One one side of the breezeway guests will find two downstairs bedrooms with king size beds and adjoining bathrooms which include large walk in showers. Also downstairs is a cozy bunk room with two full & two twin beds. Upstairs is a spacious rec room featuring an air hockey table. Upstairs also offers two bedrooms with king size beds and two bathrooms with tub/shower combos.

    On the other side of the breezeway guests will enjoy an open concept - spacious living area including a half bath and roomy kitchen. The laundry room (which includes two stackable washers/dryers) is found just off the kitchen.

    Generous decks featured on two levels allow breathtaking views -
    below the cabin (ground level) offers benches, bar height picnic tables & a swing.
    just outside the doors on the main level, surrounding two sides of the cabin, there are bar height bar stools and rocking chairs.

    The refreshing Caddo River is just steps away where guests can enjoy swimming, floating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, sunbathing, and making lifelong memories of all kinds!

Great family place

We have stayed her twice for our family Christmas and have a great time here. There is a great area to share time together both inside and outside with great accommodations for private areas.

Nice House

Nice, clean house.. big porch with picnic table.. nice play area upstairs with games..comfortable beds.. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back sometime.

Awesome stay

This property was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed our stay with our family. Plenty of room for everyone and amenities are amazing! Definitely recommend this for your family getaway! The owner was so nice and was quick to get back with any issues!

Loved the location and the space. Recliners are pretty worn out. There was not an air hockey table as advertised. The outside metal barstools are rusting.

Great Cabin for families

We gather all our kiddos together to do our Caddo Cousin Christmas! This cabin was perfect for that. Loved the split bedrooms from the main living area. The manager was great at communicating! A will stay again

Excellent Stay

This was our second year spending Christmas in this cabin, and we had an amazing time! The cabin is spacious. We had a couple of small issues and the owners were very responsive. We plan to stay again!

Great location and value

We loved our stay at Livin on the Edge. You cannot beat the location. You can throw a rock into the river from the balcony! Plenty of room and accommodations in the house. The only complaint I have is they decided to do lawn service the Saturday we stayed and it was a bit annoying having to hear and talk over the loud equipment noise running during our stay. Everything else was great though and we would love to stay again!

Annual Canoe Trip

Our group of 10 that stayed at Living on the Edge are old high school friends that have been doing an annual canoe trip for 12+ years. This place is by far the best place we have ever stayed. The house is top notch from top to bottom. Plenty of space and the layout is great with super easy access to the Caddo. We will be staying here again and I highly recommend Living on the Edge for a group or family stay.

Wonderful Place

Our extended family of 11 stayed over Thanksgiving week and we had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for all of us and the view was amazing. The house has everything you need for a weeks stay and we would stay again if in the area. We visited Crater of Diamonds State Park and Hot Springs National Park, both were a short drive from the house. The house was also nicely decorated for Christmas with 3 trees which was nice for the holiday season.

Beautiful Location

My friends and family attended a golf tournament at a local course and found this VRBO to be perfect. I highly recommend this host and home. It sits on the River, which is seen off the balcony of the home. The home is also located in a very nice gated community. 5/5 experience! Thanks very much!

Amazing Beautiful New House

This property was beyond what we could have asked for. Plenty of room for all. We had 11 it sleeps 17. And everyone had a bed to sleep in. Right on the river with beautiful scenery. Very well stocked. Game room upstairs for the kids was a bonus. Great place to relax and enjoy time with friends and family.
