This is a beautiful home on the Guadalupe River just a short distance from Presbyterian Mo-Ranch Assembly. We stayed for just a short visit but really enjoyed our time at Rock Bottom. The home is beautifully decorated and appointed. We spent the early part of each day at Mo-Ranch and then the latter part at Rock Bottom just relaxing and looking and listening for birds from the back porch. It was very restful.

Not clean

House had a layer of dust and grime on every surface. Every shower had dead bugs, dirt and hair in them. Floor was dirty, bedspreads had dirt on them, coffee pot was full of dirty water and the microwave had crusty old food stuck in it. I reached out to the host to convey my concerns about the cleanliness of the house and they NEVER RESPONDED. We travel a lot as a family, and I always try to deal directly with the property manager. Never before have I experienced a complete lack of communication from a host. If you appreciate a clean rental with a responsive host, I suggest you spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Extremely disappointing experience experience.

Great weekend on the river

Great house with all of the amenities. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of just lounging in the river during the day. Cell service is non-existent but we were okay with that as the wifi inside the house worked well. Overall great place to stay!

Bittersweet

House was great. Location was private. River was a disappointment. I misinterpreted the term "shallow" for river in front of the house. Was actually shin deep and "silty". Water deep enough to enjoy was down the road at a low water crossing. Overall had a good time.

Great family getaway

Two families stayed for a long weekend. Everything was great. The kitchen had everything you would ever need. Beds were very comfortable. Activities and river kept everyone entertained.

Great place!

We so enjoyed spending time here during camp pick ups and over the 4th of July! it is a great set up for several families and has all the games and amenities to keep everyone busy and happy. Very nice, we will be back.

Great family & friends getaway!

This was a great family & friends getaway! The property was beautiful & not a detail was missed inside the home. There was plenty of space for the teens to hang out & be entertained all weekend long, while the adults relaxed too. The patio was the perfect spot to cook out for dinner & enjoy the amazing views. We really took advantage of having our own private river access & a hot tub was the cherry on top! We highly recommend this rental, & we look forward to returning in the future.
