El desayuno se sirve en la parte noble del edificio; buffet libre del típico desayuno inglés. Los jardines que rodean el edificio, y que forman parte de Madingley Hall bien merecen un paseo. “I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready. It wasn't such a big deal, but it was another warning sign. I was in a single room, which made a certain saying about a cat spring to mind. “This was a one night stopover on a budget. Unfortunately I wasn't able to visit the raptors but from what I could see I missed out. Check in was later than expected but I received a text with the details on how to get my room key from the safe box. Room was comfortable and clean and the kitchenette was well equipped. A bowl for cereal would have been useful. The room was a short walk to the car park, and some additional lighting, especially over the room door would be useful.”
