“La Petite was lovely, impeccably clean, and very tastefully decorated. The proximity to town is perfection. One note to those bringing a dog: the internal spiral staircase is narrow and could be treacherous from some dogs; our dog did not want to use it and even if she did, I wouldn't be comfortable with her using them to go downstairs. Fortunately, there is an outdoor staircase that leads to the bedroom/bathroom upstairs and that is what we used to take her upstairs at bedtime. It was...

“A small cabin for 5 people. Beautiful cabin for a quick trip in Idyllwild.”

“This property seems to be a new listing. Nearly everything was new from the remodel to the furnishings.”

“Everything was great, pillows were amazing!!! just wish the tv was updated. Couldn’t use the provided Netflix. Otherwise 10 out of 10! ”

“The house is new and modern, with good array of cooking utensils and linens. Floor plan upstairs is odd. The master bedroom is open to the downstairs (loft style), so it lacks privacy. The upstairs bathroom is at the end of the master suite so people sleeping in the other bedroom have to walk through the master bedroom to use the facilities (or go downstairs). The floor plan is best for people who are comfortable sharing sleeping and bathroom spaces. No early check-in. ”

“The cabin was very cute and cozy. Great yard for the dog and short walk to town. Excited about the new bakery going in next door for next time!”

“Absolutely recommend this quiet scenic oasis! 10/10 Three nights wasn’t enough to enjoy everything this place had to offer. The master suite has breathtaking views to wake up to, the panoramic views from the private deck, the spacious bunk beds, the deep bathtub, the vaulted ceilings, were all so wonderful that leaving is the hardest part. The hot tub is placed perfectly to enjoy the sunset, and the outside bar top is a great place for sunrise coffee.Modern appliances and upgrades, the overhead...

“Loud dog, bed in master 1st floor sharp edges. Cut major leg opening and entry fireplace rise at door can trip. We are 82 and 75 and these items should be explained. Need rubber corners on that bed.”

“The hobbit house is a very charming home. It’s been beautifully remodeled, and the grounds are perfect for making dinners at home. It is walking distance to everything that you might need in Idyllwild. And most importantly, in my opinion, the property manager/owner was only a phone call away. When we needed anything at all, we could contact him and he responded. This is very important in my opinion. Highly recommend! It’s a great place to stay.”

“Adorable stay”

“Nice room but lacking some essentials; No ice machine No utensils”

“Robert was an outstanding host. Wonderfully cute place with amazing views and fantastic hiking trails close by. Highly recommend this place. ”

“We enjoyed our stay. Grateful that it wasPet friendly. The picture online is very misleading however. We thought we were at a completely different home. It would be appropriate to post a picture online that is true to the decorations, etc. just saying. The real thing compared to the photo is misleading. But overall, we were happy to sleep there for the one night. ”

“Great affordable option for a quick overnight stay. Super close to Soboba, which was really convenient. Just be sure to bring your own towels and toiletries, as those aren’t provided.”
