“Wonderful, grand, welcoming place. We used this as the setting of a team meeting to build our relationships, objective complete! The setting really brought everyone together with space for everyone to be involved. A packed agenda during the day, relaxing together cooking regional dishes in the evening, then games in the cellar in the later evening. This place is so versatile in amazing surroundings, i would definitely recommend for a group booking.”

“My family and I stayed here over Christmas for a couple of nights and we’re quite surprised with our stay, the house itself is lovely and the space was great for all the family to be together with our own rooms and the dogs loved it too, however I am disappointed to say the cleanliness of the manor was rather unsatisfactory. I would expect from any place you can book to stay for the rooms to be of a basic clean standard and I feel the manor wasn’t even slightly clean, there were dead bugs on...

“As a 3 generation family group we all loved this place to stay. Fabulous location: amazing views of countryside, but close enough to the coast. Accommodation was comfortable (beds amazingly so), lots of games and activities for children, and of course the pool and hot tub which were very well used. Our hosts Mark and Georgina were very helpful and accommodating, and communicated really well. Highly recommended. Simon and family.”

“Our recent stay as East Lodge was wonderful. The property is set in castle grounds, in a fairly secluded area. The property has all amenities you could ask for, and the owners guide is very thorough, full of recommendations and is quite humorous. There are so many places to visit nearby which makes Chillingham such a good base. Max called in to check we were having a good time and all was well with the property which was a nice touch.
