Your place is lovely. I'd love to hear the stories behind your artwork. It was really icy when we got there so glad to have the de-icer handy. We REALLY appreciated your WRITTEN directions. It seems that many are getting away from that helpful assistance. Small lamps like the ones in the bedroom would be helpful on the end tables in the living room. Standing at the end of the bed and looking toward the window the bed leg on the left end is easy to bump. Might be something to pad that to help with bumps. The lake view was also quite delightful. Thanks again for a great stay.

Host is very responsive and answered questions quickly. Property was nice and in good condition. The king bed was more of a firm mattress but it was fine for us. We didn’t try the sleeper sofa so I can’t comment on that. The location is a great hub to explore many areas including, Traverse City, Frankfort, Sleeping Bear, and Leelanau peninsula area.

Very nice, clean , comfortable place to stay. The hot tub after hiking was great. Everything you need was available. As stated in other reviews it is right by the road but you cannot hear the traffic inside at all.

Our stay was very good. The view of the lake from the terrace was lovely, especially on a sunny day. The other vacationers staying on property were respectful (no loud guests!). The property is cozey, well laid out, clean, and functional. Internet access was great, but the bed was a little stiff (thin mattress). The hot tub is a very nice addition for those who choose to enjoy, and the living room area was nice for our evening video entertainment (large flat screen with some streaming services available to us during our stay). The kitchen had everything we needed, trash was easy to handle, and the washer-dryer in the unit was great to have available. One important note is the location - amazingly convenient to grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, but the property is along a busy road (notably during the day). So, nothing is "walkable," and if your intent is to go for a walk in nature, other than a stroll by the lake (we didn't check to see if there was a walking path), you will need to make a plan to drive to nearby park (which are near) in order to go for such a walk. Otherwise, lovely stay in a nice place that was very thoughtfully arranged for guests. Would definitely stay again.

Convenient to everything

Overall this is a great place to stay, thats close to everything. Perfect all around. The beds were hard as a rock, and the pull out bed is a nightmare. Overall, would recommend the hot hot tub was a bonus.

Great trip to Interlochen!

We booked this rental due to its proximity to Interlochen because we attended a concert there, we were only three miles away. Everything was as advertised in the listing, clean, neat, very comfortable. We would book again if we come back to the area.
