“This wonderful home is even more attractive and comfortable than the photographs prepared us for. The location is very peaceful with a large deck and several room windows looking out to Tamales Bay and a verdant tree scape. Yet it is very close to the main road and all our favorite hiking and swimming spots. Somehow in our decades of renting houses at Point Reyes we’d never found this one and we’ve stayed at some great places, but this is a house we now have at the top of our list for future...

“My husband and I had come from a long distance and more than anything wanted tranquility. We were able to enjoy the views, cook good meals in the lovely kitchen and enjoy the quiet. I don't think we have ever stayed in a place that was quite so comfortable. The whole experience was like a warm hug.”

“Overall we had a great stay. But I want to clear up a few issues. There is room for two cars in the driveway because it’s a long driveway, one car goes in first and one car parks behind it. The next issue is that there are only one and 1/2 bathrooms. There’s a 1/2 bath on the main floor and one full bath (no bathtub) on the lower floor. There is no fan in the 1/2 bath, only a small window for ventilation. So, there is a main floor, a lower floor and a loft above the living room. The loft is...

“Loved our stay! The house was clean and had everything we needed for a great get away. The views were incredible. Cant wait to come back”

“Our host was amazing. Upon booking, they shared a wealth of information about local attractions, hikes, food, etc. The house was extremely well stocked and there was nothing we needed that wasn't there. Impeccably clean too! ”

“Such a peaceful place to relax and feel close to all that is good about nature. Roomy, great amenities; comfortable sofa bed. Easy drive to coastal town of Tomales and Pt Reyes. Definitely recommend!”

“Kellie was very easy to communicate with. The place was cozy and comfortable.with the windows open you could hear the ocean. Only item is the parking is very tight bring a smaller car.”

“A wonderful interesting house and property to spend a few relaxing days in with great views everywhere. ”

“Perfect location, nice and quiet spot to chill when in the north bay. Will book again.”

“Very cute and cozy place. Not a lot to work with if planning to cook an elaborate meal but over all perfect for lounging and take out. We will definitely stay again!”

“My stay was very nice and peaceful. Felt safe and was the place was spotless. Bedding was very nice luxurious. Beautiful fresh picked vases of flowers in two of the rooms. Saw a cute deer outside at night while on balcony. Enjoyed my stay very much.”

“Very convenient location to everything Bodega. Very safe area with roving security patrols. Communication with the host was excellent. Great view of the ocean and bay. All kitchen items required were available. Bring your own spices though because they have the very basic leftover spices from other guests like salt n pepper n garlic powder. Beds are firm but pillows are very comfortable.”

“The online description was accurate. Served as a nice base for exploring Sonoma County west of the 101. Very relaxed feel. Fun to see all of the farm animals on the surrounding properties.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment on the shore of Bodega Bay. The view is outstanding, and everything was exactly as described. We particularly enjoyed using the barbeque on the deck, while enjoying the views, and found the kitchen to be very well equipped. Both bedrooms were nice and the mattresses particularly comfortable. Notes from the owners were very thorough and completely accurate. We would be happy to return.”

“It was just what we hoped for a modern but rustic home overlooking vineyards and central to so many wonderful places to visit!”

“We had a great stay in Bodega Bay! This property was clean and in a convenient location.”

“There’s hardly any water up stairs the shower doesn’t work at all. Threshold into upstairs bedroom isn’t attached caused me to trip heated was up at 85 degrees when we got here took forever to cool off zero water pressure”

“I seldom do overnight stays. The hot water has a button for heating that I learned about after I got home. Modern amenities are only amenities if one knows how they work. The convenient plaque with the WiFi password is inaccurate. It’s a nice place but it was difficult for me.”
