Inverness Vacation Retreat - Tomales Bay View!

  • Bienvenido a una maravillosa escapada por un fin de semana o más cerca del Point Reyes National Seashore. Encaramado en una ladera entre madrones y robles, esta hermosa casa con un plano de planta abierta con vistas a la bahía de Tomales con vistas a las colinas al norte de Pt. Reyes Station. La casa tiene un plano de planta abierto que incluye postes arquitectónicos de piso a techo que dan la sensación de una casa en el árbol en el bosque. La zona de estar principal tiene ventanas amplias con vistas al bosque y a la bahía de Tomales y tiene dos zonas de loft que se pueden utilizar para dormir o pasar el rato. Además, dos dormitorios y un baño en la planta baja brindan privacidad y un oasis tranquilo. Situado a pocos pasos de Chicken Ranch Beach y accesible a todo lo que la zona tiene para ofrecer: playas, excelentes rutas de senderismo y restaurantes locales.

We loved the house. Everything about it was comfortable and cool. The window views were amazing. Felt like I was in a tree house. I live the art work and all the wood. We would love to stay there again.

The view is stunning, there is a large open space to hang out with lots of seating options, and the beds are very comfortable. We have been to Inverness before, so we were aware that many of the houses there are rustic and quirky. We also knew the roads in the neighborhood would be bumpy and slow going. The payoff is the location. Point Reyes National Seashore is one of the most beautiful areas in the world. The host was a great communicator, and we received very clear information about the property, WiFi, etc. My family would totally go back.

Beautiful view and lots of spaces to read/sleep. Sort of a lovely treehouse for adults/older children. Minimal kitchen but had all we needed and there’s a great market for sandwiches a few miles south. Great communication with host. Excellent location for nearby hiking/sketching and we especially enjoyed the Palomarin Bird banding station, Limantour Beach and Chimney Rock trail. So many wildflowers in May.

Great get-a-way overlooking Tomales Bay

Comfortable, cozy house - plenty of room, yet intimate at the same time. AMAZING views of Tomales Bay and the surrounding hills. Close to so much - Point Reyes National Seashore, the local villages, and so much more. Enjoyed it a lot, and would stay again.

Beautiful House in the Forest

We had a wonderful stay in Inverness. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, with easy access to hiking and the town. The house was clean, well-appointed, and offered breathtaking views of Tomales Bay from the deck. We’ll definitely be back!

We spent a rainy long weekend in Point Reyes that might have been very disappointing if it hadn’t been for the beautiful views of the bay afforded by the many large windows. The space had many sleeping options and there were plenty of spaces to hang out in. The kitchen, while small is very well appointed (no dishwasher just in case that matters to you) but plenty of pots and pans and knives to cook with which is a lot of what we did since we were stuck inside and a lovely long dining room table to eat at. Lots of good art to look at as well. Communication with the host was easy and gracious.

Gorgeous views

This house is a gem overlooking gorgeous Tomales Bay. I could have looked out the window for hours. It was a great setting for a work retreat with two co-workers. And the beds are very comfy!

Absolute perfect getaway

We had such a lovely time. The house was clean and spacious. Plenty of beds, reading nooks and fantastic views. The location was perfect. We hit the ocean beaches and the visitors center. I have already recommended this place and would definitely come back!

Sisters reunion

Front deck looking over Tomales Bay was a winner, especially for a full moon rising. Coziness of various sitting areas worked well for us. We enjoyed the variety of outdoor activities Point Reyes offers, including Saturday’s Farm Market.

Beautiful house with excellent view

The house is spacious, clean and comfortable; we enjoyed the view of Tomales Bay as well as the close vicinity to Inverness and the beaches. The house was well stocked with towels and bedding. Highly recommend!

Perfect location for Point Reyes National Seashore

We loved the uniqueness of the home and the views of Tomales Bay were perfect. It is super easy to get Point Reyes Station and Point Reyes National Seashore from this house. Communication with the owner was excellent.

Amazing Spot

We loved this house! There was plenty of space, it was well-equipped, and the views were spectacular. It felt like a well cared for home. I would definitely return.
