“Lovely space with full kitchen, dining and bath and a comfy full size bed. My only complaint is that due to the weather the space was very cold throughout. The one room heater provided in the front room is not sufficient. I had to turn on the oven and open the door to keep the chill out then turn it off once I went to bed. A recommendation: Maybe the owner can provide another heating source for the other part of the space. Aside from that, I do plan to come back.”

“We really enjoyed our stay over the weekend. The house was perfect. Super clean. Right by the ocean. At night you can hear the ocean. The only thing was when we got there, there was a lock on the gate that needed a code to open. I was able to call the property manager and they provided me the code within minutes. I will be coming to Ventura in the next couple of months and will stay here again if possible ”

“The location and proximity to Silver Strand beach and surrounding area was great. Just a short walk to the beach, and you can see boats coming and going from the harbor from the upstairs living room. Highly recommend getting a breakfast burrito at The Strandwich.Property is pretty basic. Aside from the pool table and TV there are no other interior activities (books, games, puzzles, etc) so bring those with you if you want them. “The place is beautiful! We had us, our adult daughter, her boyfriend and our two younger kids. We could have fit more people if we needed to. The decor is cute, the place was clean, a short walk to the beach and some restaurants or if you got in the car the harbor area is just a 5 minute drive! If the opportunity presents itself, we will definitely stay her again!”

“Booked this listing, all seemed well. No contact from the property owner, but assumed they’d reach out as we got closer to the trip. The day of check-in, I still had not heard from the owner. I called the number on the VRBO listing and it was clearly a burner phone. Had no way of accessing the property with lack of response. Had to scramble and find new accommodations last minute. I’ve never had such a horrible experience.”

“This was a nice place to stay! The beach was a half block away and is absolutely beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the property was decently stocked. It is an older property that’s been renovated but there are a few things that are in need of repair. Overall a comfortable place to stay and communication from management/owner was stellar. ”
