“The most unique hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The house is beautifully presented with a balance between traditional furnishings and modern amenities. The only drawback was that there was no A/C in the house other than the bedroom, so it could get quite hot. However, the A/C in the bedroom worked very well so there was no problem falling asleep. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Penang.”

“The rooms are cosy and comfortable, providing a pleasant and restful stay. The only concern I encountered was the lack of consistent hot water in the showers, which I have also experienced during previous visits. I hope the hotel will take this into consideration and address the issue. Aside from that, the property remains an excellent choice and a truly enjoyable place to stay in Penang.”

“Wonderful place to stay in Penang. Great food options in the hotel and also nearby. Easy walk around the top of Penang and nice to be just out of the busier centre. Lovely rooms and decor throughout and the pool was superb. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant. ”

“It’s a great place to rest for a couple of days before the next flight. The food was good, staff was friendly and helpful, and there’s a great little spa (very good massages). The pool looked nice but the water was quite cloudy when I swam, so that was a little worrying. It meant that the pool wasn’t cleaned or properly chlorinated. I would stay again. ”

“The first room that we went into was ok but very dirty and smelt like mould, did not expect that from Hilton, as the name does associate to the room standard Then we were given a different room, good room all was nice but dirty floor, hair in fridge, main door not shutting properly, cabinet with fridge in it rotting from the legs, water dripping from ceiling due to condensation, again don’t go with the name please The lobby and swimming pool area is amazing though.”

“The place was incredibly cozy. The owners are amazing - give you a map that shows all the local places when you check in. They even lent me a bamboo mat for the beach! The place is also spotless - they take great care of it. Air conditioning and TV both worked very well. A 5 minute slow walk from the beach, and there is a supermarket literally 5 meters from the front door. “Hotel antiguo masificado y dejado !! El desayuno generoso pero muy mala calidad y limpieza . Habitación con la tele rota y 1 días sin servicio de limpieza y el wifi muchas veces no funcionaba lo más importante que la habitación está llena de hormigas . No la recomiendo para nada y lo que hice es reservar en otro hotel y cambiar”
