“Enjoyed my stay I definitely would stay again”

“The rooms are directly above the restaurant. The staff are great. Our room overlooked the restaurant patio and Lunnenburg wharfs. There was chatter and activity until closing. There is no A/C but it cooled off quickly with the windows open. The bathroom fan did not work, nor did the lower receptacles on the bedside. We unplugged the bedside lamps to charge our phones.”

“We were lucky enough to get a room with a gorgeous view of the water. The room, although dated, was very spacious and clean. The staircase leading to the room reminded you of just how old the building is. The hallway carpet was filthy but the room was clean, We would stay there again as long as we were guaranteed a water view.”

“Beautiful and clean room. Great location. Enormously comfortable bed! I truly loved the space. There were just a few things that prevented me from giving a full 5-stars. The shower ran out of hot water. The passageway to the doors of each cabin are elevated like a boardwalk, which looks very quaint but is a bit problematic because you either have to walk around the long way to get to your vehicle, or step off of the boardwalk, which is about a 4-foot drop (for my cabin, anyway), making it a...

“The house is beautiful, good location a short walk to town and waterfront. Dining room was beautiful, sunny, comfortable with excellent breakfast provided”

“The hotel is undergoing renovation, if this is the case then they should close down until it is fully renovated. The place is filthy and so is the room. It wasn’t vacuumed (saw an unsued battery under the bed), though they claimed it was recently cleaned. The room has a smell, bed linens looked worn out, pillows and carpet have many stains. The price they charged for a 2 day stay is not worth your money. I will not recommend this hotel unless you are desperate.”

“The Dordean Suites was above and beyond our expectations. Of all the places we stayed in on our road trip through Nova Scotia this was by far the most reasonable in terms of price and experience In addition to being beautiful, clean it offered so many unexpected amenities - a private hot tub, barbecue AND fire table for each unit and a welcome basket with delicious snacks.
