“Host was prompt in answering questions and I felt very comfortable upon arrival. The tv console was broken but did not inconvenience us. However, I was quite disappointed in the bedding. Dust ruffle was old, shabby looking and on the bed in disarray. The pillows were hard- I was expecting more hotel quality in all the bedding- sheets, blankets etc. the mattress was very comfortable as were the towels. ”

“I have stayed at South Seas many times over many years, so it makes me sad to say I will NEVER go back. The pictures that are portrayed of the unit are all lies! The place is like a ghost town. It is filled with construction workers. Worse yet, you do not have access to the resort or any of its “few” restaurants. You are not told any of this during booking. The pool that you do have access to was filthy. I spoke with the registration person who admittedly took some responsibility for the fact...

“The place was very clean and comfortable, the pool in the tennis villa was nice and we will take advantage of the short walk to the beach next time as public parking fills up fast even on weekdays. We booked with rosen vacations and ”

“The photo on the listing was deceptive in that due to hurricane there’s no longer a view of the beach as shown on the listing. I totally understand that, and I’m glad the dunes are being rebuilt and seeded. But one of the things I was looking forward to was sitting out being able to look out at the ocean.. view that drew my attention was that photo. I would possibly stay there again, but again I think the photo needs to be updated as some people will be very disappointed.”

“Loved this bayside villa! A large condo very close to the beach!!! Outdoor seating space overlooking the bay was nice. I was greeted by a sea otter in the early morning. I loved my time in Captiva and can’t wait to go back. The host was very responsive and checked on me throughout my entire stay to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I need. ”
