“This is a lovely property. It was convenient to walk everywhere in town. We only used our car to go to Acadia to sightsee and hike. The unit was spotless. The ability to open windows and enjoy the fresh air was lovely. It was well appointed with good cookware, basic spices, coffee, and shampoo, etc., ”

“We visit the Acadia area frequently to see family and generally stay closer to Bar Harbor. We decided to stay a bit further away in Stonington and this home did not disappoint! The unit is perched directly over the harbor, providing stunning views of the ocean, sun and the active fishing community. The interior is beautifully updated and comfortable for our family of 4 and small dog. Stonington is off the beaten path but a nice respite from the crowds of Bar Harbor. Nicole was a terrific host....

“Good location and adequate. Essentials were there but lacking in detail. No instructions on the heating system so you have to go through trial and error. Same with the tv set. The door lock was not working well so it was a challenge every time we used it. No fan or vent for the stove. Pretty obvious amateur renovation done. Clean and basically comfortable certainly not luxurious. ”

“Excellent. Well-kept, quiet, easy walking distance to harbor and downtown Bar Harbor. Nice bakery across the street with pastries and coffee drinks.”

“We are retired and getting a bit to old to navigate a sail boat. We loved the view looking at all the boats coming and going. We visited Bar Harbor, Acadia Park, We ate the best food from Little Notch Bakery. Try the blueberry pie. Its to die for. Thank you for your rental it had all we needed to feel at home.”

“The apartment is exactly as described. It is small, but perfectly adequate for 1-2 people. Everything - linens, kitchenware, appliances - is of the highest quality. Jay is extremely responsive to inquiries and clearly dedicated to ensuring that his guests enjoy their stay. We very much enjoyed exploring MDI and then returning to our comfortable accommodations at the end of the day. Would absolutely recommend.”
