“Island Place is an amazing stay to visit Bar Harbor and Acadia. The hotel is clean and well maintained and walking distance from downtown and the Village Green. We were able to walk to the shuttle buses instead of driving. Maureen and everyone there are the nicest people we've encountered at a hotel ever. They have amazing recommendations and made us feel like home. We are eager to come back!”

“A friendly, family run inn. Very typical of old Maine style with cute wallpaper, wood floors, and old Maine charm. If you are looking for modern luxury this isn’t for you. However, if you want a lovely inn with a ton of charm and a great price on the island, then you won’t find better than the Harbourside. The bedroom was big with a very comfortable bed and lovely bed linens. It’s an easy walk to Northeast Harbor with excellent shopping and restaurants.”

“A gorgeous sunrise view overlooking the harbor. Next door to the Looking Glass Restaurant, which also has the same beautiful view. Clean, comfortable, beautiful furniture, relaxing balcony.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Hearthside Inn! The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the customer service was excellent — the staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed. Parking was a bit of a walk, but they were very helpful in assisting us and offering good options. Breakfast was amazing, and the coffee was just what we needed to start the day. Highly recommend this inn for anyone visiting the area! Thank you again… from Calif!”
