“The home was huge and very well thought out! They had basically everything that we needed, very well stocked. There were clear instructions on how to get into the home, and the owners gave us a guide for the house and the surrounding areas, which was very helpful! We fit 12 people perfectly, but there would be space for even more given the extra pull out couches and mattresses in the closets. You can tell that they put a lot of thought into the home. Along with nearby hiking trails we drove into Acadia National Park which was unfortunately very crowded so we hurried back to our very own peninsula to enjoy the solitude, watching the tides roll in and out. “We loved this house and the location! We've stayed in a nearby house for many vacations through the years but needed something bigger, and this house was perfect for us. It's quirky and filled with art, and beautiful ocean views.The upstairs layout is a little funky (one bedroom is only accessible via adjoining rooms, and one large bedroom has the back staircase in it) but it was totally fine for us. Our kids loved the visiting chickens and walking to the beach each morning.”

We went twice to Chipmans Wharf for lobster, amazing lobster rolls with good prices. We also went to Acadia National Park, enjoyed the complimentary bus to several locations. I would book again.”
