“Great place to stay in Lubec!”

“Our room was clean, bed was clean, refrigerator was clean. We had to ask for towels & wash cloths and were happy to give them to us. The next day they were replaced without asking. They are in the middle of a major rebuild due to a fire and they are doing the best that they can. Overall, a great stay.”

“We booked Bear Mountain Lodge for one night, but wish we could’ve stayed for more! The owner was very welcoming and friendly. He sent detailed information for our arrival and it was quick and easy. The signs posted to the lodge were helpful and clear. The lodge and our room were very clean. Our room had a separate bathroom for our room (Deer Room) and it was fine by us. The Lodge was super quiet as well despite the rooms all being booked. I do wish there were blinds to block out the light in...

“I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though”

“Cozy cabin. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities of home. Bed was very comfortable. Amazing views of the waterfront. Enjoyed relaxing by the fire and overlooking the tide come in. Fun exploring the mud flats at low tide. Screened porch was a great place to enjoy meals and game nights without having to worry about the bugs. Convenient location to explore Jasper beach and Acadia. Highly recommend this lovely relaxing piece of heaven.”

“First of all I want to say there was great communication from the host. The apartment was just okay. The listing says no pets but there was lots of little white dog hairs all over the futon couch, we didn’t even sit on it. Parking was not good, too far away from entry door. It had snowed the day before we arrived and nothing had been shoveled and we had to make several trips back and forth from our vehicle trying not to fall on snow and ice.
