“This rental was one of my favorites! The beautiful and tranquil setting (and view out the window) was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and there are cozy blankets available. The kitchen has everything you need should you decide to cook. An added bonus was the availability of kayaks and canoes to enjoy on the lake. There is also a dock, handy for fishing. We were too busy enjoying hiking along Mt. Baker Hwy, but hopefully there will be a next time since I loved staying here so much! ”

“This property is a gem! It's such an inspiration to see how efficient this tastefully appointed single room is with all needs met. The outdoor spaces, from a darling off road parking spot (back in if possible) to the generous and beautifully landscaped courtyard as well as an upstairs deck invite one to enjoy all meals and drinks at a selection of small tables. While the kitchen provides a limited ability to cook, it is best and easier to bring in premade meals for reheating or get take out....

“We stayed in the Shogun room. Everything was great! The screen door, however, needed some maintenance, as it was hard to open and close.”

“All the amenities as a hotel and then some. The family did stay quiet throughout our stay. They shared with us that they make a point to staying quiet. Great job!The hot tub was clean. There were extra towels. They are kind.The property is beautiful. I was able to relax with a hot cup of tea while watching the sun go down. The room has a walk in closet. They provide hangers. The shower has face wash to hair conditioner. King size bed. Huge! With lots of pillows. There are movies and card games....

“We enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The entrance was private and provided a nice area to sit and enjoy the outdoors. An added bonus is that it is close to the trailhead into the Galbraith mountain bike area.”

“Went on a mother/daughter getaway for our first time on Orcas Island. The location was great, a little more out in the woods, but only a short distance to the cute town of Eastsound. You can see the water from the porch and there is a waterfall right next to you that you can hear/see. There were people who stayed above us that you could easily hear walking/using the water but not too disruptive. The only item that wasn’t as advertised was we were missing a hair dryer. Otherwise, great low price...

“We loved the place and had more than we needed. At every turn there were helpful supplies in bathroom and kitchen. If two couples were staying there you should know there is not sound privacy between rooms. The rooms are very creatively made with tall furniture and folding dividers. It creates a very nice open space.”
