“this house was perfect! It was very clean and had everything we needed for the kitchen etc. It was so close to the state park and town. I would recommend to anyone! ”

“This is a great place for a lot of bed space near the Skagit River Park sports complex. It doesn't have a ton of individual personality but many people may prefer that. We would have liked laundry and a few more blankets but other than that - a great stay. Nice bathrooms, very clean.”

“We loved the attention to detail and the comfort of the Q cottage. Jeff and Mechelle are wonderful hosts. They were very responsive. Check in and check out were easy! The cottage was cute and cozy. We enjoyed the location. We hope to return! ”

“We enjoyed it, but some constructive criticism. * The door keypad code should be shortened. A 10-digit code is ridiculous. I believe 4 or 5 is adequate and would eliminate much frustration. *We rented after reading an April review noting the primary shower was terrible. The plumbing fixtures are old and not functional. The owner replied that the problem would be fixed. Well, it was not, and my we had to endure a trickle shower. I used the guest bath, but my wife likes the privacy of her bath....

“The house is in a great location. The house is a little dated- appliances and decor. The house is listed at a premium rate due to the location but lacks other amenities such as updated appliances, bedding and WiFi. Watching the wildlife was the large living rooms windows was a great way to start and end the day. The largest bedroom that states it sleeps 5 has no heating source available and is very cold at night. ”

“Absolutely loved staying here and would stay again! The view of the water is so calming- we looked for wildlife and saw a crane eating. We read in the nook overlooking the water. We walked along the beach. The place has pictures of the parents who had owned the home and gives it a sweet feel. Highly recommend!”

“The rental was awesome! Definitely dated but it was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed how close it was to the beach you could walk on and that it was a very short drive to La Conner. A few things that would’ve made it a little better: we cooked dinner and breakfast at the rental and the pots/pans were very old and stained. There were very few plates so we had to do dishes very often and never had enough for a meal. (we had a total of 6 people). The stove took some getting used to as it is very...
