“We had a wonderful, restful 5 days. I especially enjoyed watching the tides. We kayaked and rode our bikes almost 100 miles over three days in three areas. Lots of lobster, a puzzle, books and campfires. Just what we like: an active but relaxing vacation.”

“This was my 3rd or 4th stay here, and my favorite spot in all of Maine. Even on a rainy or snowy day, it’s gorgeous. This is an older home with lots of charm, the most breathtaking views of the harbor, and everything you could need to enjoy time here indoors or out. I almost hate to add photos, as it will drive demand for this spot even higher. It’s just a stunningly beautiful space and it’s very hard to leave!”

“Lovely spot on a quiet pond. We very much enjoyed watching the loons, ducks, heron and turtles from the deck. Our lab loved playing in the water from the easy accessible water. Limited motor boats on the pond and a dead end road made for a quiet week. Cabin is comfortable and well equipped. Close to neighboring towns for exploring.Bonus that the cabin is so near The Place (great cinnamon buns) and Scott’s (inexpensive lobster rolls and great onion rings)! “What a great place to stay and area to explore. A great time was had. Listing and reviews were accurate. Highly recommend Primo restaurant in Rockland and Mcloons lobster shack. The cottage was great. Only negative I can think of is the amount of hot water in the shower which we knew going in thanks to reviews. Would definitely utilize this space again. ”

“Beautiful Maine home with fantastic views. We enjoyed our stay and spent time kayaking direct from the property, swimming in the nearby quarry and at the beach, and relaxing dinners on the deck. Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable and house was very clean on arrival. Would stay again. ”

Cove Cottage was perfectly located and its being right on the water made it irresistible. It is obstructing the view. (2) same for the tree at the bottom of the lot closest to the water.
