“This is a cozy, clean and modern studio with separate dedicated bathroom in a quiet residential neighborhood. It's just about 10 minutes away from the main shopping and eating areas in Richmond. It's upstairs of the owners garage. They were quick to respond when we pointed out that the microwave was missing. Unless you put up the Murphy bed there isn't a lot of space to move around, but it's adequate for a short stay. ”

From the moment we let the owner know we’d be arriving late, they went out of their way to accommodate us—offering to set up the pull-out couch so we could get the kids to bed early. “The property was clean bright and the right amount of space. The stairs were hard on our elderly family member but doable. The area was family friendly with a park down the street. Minimal traffic noise noticeable in the apartment. There was easy communication with the host. The beds left more to be desired as they were narrow, firm and squeaky. We did have to request towels as they were limited in the apartment and no bath mat (slippery floor when wet). ”
