“Si tienes que hacer escala en Ambon quizás sea de lo mejor, pero se nota que es un hotel de convenciones y celebraciones bastante mas enfocado al turismo nacional que al extranjero: hablan muy poquito inglés y aunque en su inauguración se nota que debería ser muy bonito, su estado de mantenimiento dista mucho de ser perfecto. así como el buffet de desayuno con muchas opciones de platos indonesios y muy pocas para extranjeros”

I would add a couple cautions due to its remote location:
- There is limited plumbing (no flushing toilet) and no wifi (we were able to get a weak signal and used our own data)
- everything we ate was fresh, delicious and local but this means a lot of fish, rice, greens and eggs. Every night it was cooked differently and we loved every meal, but...
“Very basic and okay hotel. Some issues with the room, like the key reader isn't very easy to use, there's no mirror over the sink, and there are some lights that can't be turned off at night...”
“The zest is a new hotel, while the rooms are basic they were clean, well maintained and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. The food in the restaurant was good. Two very good cafes for excellent coffee are next door. Location was very central. Would stay again.”
