Isle of Palms

Our stay was outstanding. Didnt care for the walk to the beach as we had elderly folks with us who couldn't make it that far. Once there, the private beach & no crowds was wonderful.

Lovely home in a wonderful location in Ocean Point! The kitchen was roomy and well equipped. Our teens loved the proximity of the pool and short walk to beach. Elevator was easy to use. Great home!

nice getaway

We stayed for 4 nights and the place is extremely clean. Communication with Hugh was great. I recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax.

21 Ocean Point

Had a wonderful time a Wild Dunes with our extended family. The house is lovely, large and comfortable. It has every amenity you could want. I’d highly recommend it.

Great location, beautiful home!

My parents, myself and my two children were very pleased with this property. Clean, updated furnishings, comfortable beds and excellent location. Would definitely return to 21 Ocean Point!

Great for a group

We had 7 ladies in the house for a tennis weekend. Easy access to tennis courts and easy access to the pool. The house is beautiful and everyone had plenty of space. We will be back!

The television in the main gathering room needs to be replaced. There was too much confusion on which remote was to be used. There were three. We had the property manager out twice and also the upper loft area remained hot during the day. The hvac guy had to come out the first evening. Besides that, the company that is used to supply beach chairs and umbrellas need to replace their chairs and on such a large area of beach not place another family 2 chairs away! The property manager was very helpful and I would let renters know there's not really a need for a golf cart with beach access and pool access within walking not knowing the area we thought we would be able to use the golf cart to go to the grocery store and back. Overall, I get the stay a four out of five.

Just Wow. This is how I felt upon arrival at 21 Ocean Point. This beach house has it all and is definitely a home away from home with all the amenities I expected and more. If you are looking for a relaxing beach stay where you have the choice of staying put to enjoy the private beach/pool or driving a short distance to the more populated public beaches or even downtown Charleston, you must check this out. I was impressed by the tasteful decor and comfortable accommodations. The kitchen is more than fully-stocked compared to other places I've stayed, there are multiple master bedrooms, plenty of space for kids/families, and an elevator to make transporting luggage and groceries easier. Morning yoga on the back deck was a perfect start to the day and the private beach is a 3-5 minute walk depending on your pace. The pool/hot tub is more like 1-2 minutes. There is ample parking for 2-3 vehicles and this location is SUPERB. The management company is super responsive and pulled out all the stops to make me feel like a valued guest. Thank you for a fabulous time in IOP. I will definitely stay here again!!

Wonderful Stay!

I’m not sure where to begin, but this house checked every single box off in my book. We have stayed in many places in IOP and specifically in wild dunes. This was a wonderfully secluded, quiet gated neighborhood within the gates of wild dunes. Not a lot of foot traffic, extremely private beach, and a great little community pool. The beach is a gorgeous walk through the 18th hole of the links course with what seems to be a brand new boardwalk leading you through the dunes. The pool being even closer. The layout of the house is perfect for a any group really! Off 3 of the bedrooms are outside patios - one overlooking the “lagoon” where you can see turtles, and even alligators. The lagoon side is a view of the driving range which surprisingly was very quiet. Now onto the house. It is immaculate and beautifully decorated with high end furniture. The beds all offered very comfortable sleep, all rooms equipped with TVs, remote controlled blinds, lots of extra towels, toiletries and private bathrooms. Signs all around the house to help guide you through a new unfamiliar territory. Kitchen is well stocked and organized. A great layout for entertaining large groups as it offers bar are seating, a long dining table and a small breakfast nook area. It lives quiet, if someone is upstairs, the noise doesn’t carry throughout which is important with kids and adults. We hope to be back again!! And are marking this as one of our favorites.

Everything was great. Had our 6 kids and 3 grandchildren with us. Worked out great. Plenty of room. Very nice place.

This is an excellent property. Spacious and very clean. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked. Excellent communication from the host as well. I would stay there again.

A diamond

We stayed during labor day at this beautiful house. It is located at a quite area at the far end of the island. Close to the beach at walking distance. A large illuminated central living room overviewing the small pond, close at the golf driving range. The house has a nice kitchen with all amenities available. A convenient in house lift, connecting the garage to the upper floors. We have loved staying there as we do not like to party but just relaxing and reading a good book. Will definitely come back if it is available. This house is like a diamond.
