Great House

This home fit our family perfectly. We loved the open space where we could be together, but also the large spaces and bedrooms for us to have privacy as individual families. The bathrooms were so spacious! This was definitely one of the best vacation homes we have ever stayed in.

Wonderful

The house was very clean, comfortable and close to the beach. The only negative was that Google maps took us to the back of the house where there were no house identification. After walking up trail to the house and discovering we had to walk around to find the front of the house , we discovered the correct road to the house.

Isle of Palms Girls Trip

This VRBO was the perfect place for our extended weekend girls trip! It was very cute with plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable and an ideal location! Only a short walk from the beach. The hosts were very responsive and truly made the experience stress free with all the offered amenities.

Great beach week

Good location with easy one block walk to uncrowded section of beach. House was clean and comfortable. No beach equipment available so you need to rent. Stair was broken on arrival but property manager responded quickly and it was fixed a few days later. Overall a great week at the beach.

Property just inside the Wild Dunes gate

Enjoyed the property with grill and deck great place to be! The path to the beach had warning of snakes and I am not a lover of snakes. The bedrooms stack for great privacy. The extra room with television would be great for children or two families. Love the house.

Wonderful location!

We met our friends from Boston in Charleston and stayed here for the weekend. There was a total of 4 adults and 5 kids/teens. There was plenty of space for everyone and the location/easy access to the beach was great. The management team was responsive when we needed a few things and they took care of it quickly. We would definitely stay again!

IOP Family Vacation

Beautiful home for our getaway for a family wedding. The home is beautiful and location was perfect. It is beautifully furnished and comfortable beds. The grounds in Wild Dunes are breathtaking! looking forward to return!

Family Reunion 2024

We had 13 family members staying here and another 8 staying nearby. Home was perfect size when all got together for dinners. The garage door was not working when we arrived which could have presented a problem with parking however, property manager had a temporary fix completed immediately and permanent fix completed next morning. Everything else was beautiful and exactly as presented in pictures. We loved our stay and would love to visit again.

Everything we expected. Close to beach, golf and tennis. Definitely rent the bikes with your 175 credit. We explored all of IOP both in and out of Wild Dunes. Kitchen trashcans could be a smidge bigger but just nitpicking here. Great layout for our 5 kids aged 8-14.

Friends Reunion

Our stay overall was great! The beds were comfy and the house was clean. Beach access was easy and super convenient. The only things that were minor issues were the doors. The patio door is really difficult to open and the front door doesn’t stay shut without the dead bolt. Also, none of the doors in the house really latched. It’s also important to note that this house can only sleep 12 and that’s if you have two in each bed and two on the sleeper sofa. When I originally booked it said sleeps 14.

Senior Girls’ Trip

Wonderful opportunity to fellowship and find some uninterrupted “down time” without having to take care of daily routine tasks! Relaxing in the seaside environment with the ocean air every morning was just what we all needed! We spent a day at the beach gathering seashells of all shapes and sizes was so much fun, then sharing! Our stay was so enjoyable!! I would love to visit again!!

Great base for exploring Charleston and Isle of Palms

Amy's house provided a great base for exploring Charleston and the Isle of Palms during the three nights my wife, daughter, mother-in-law, and I stayed there between Christmas and New Year's. It's an easy 30-minute drive to Charleston and, as advertised, literally a 3-minute walk to a gorgeous, long, clean beach. Directions were clear and check-in was easy. The house was spacious and immaculately clean, with comfortable beds, nice spaces for lounging, and a well-supplied kitchen. It's somewhat close to the street on one side but noise was negligible, and the deck on that side still felt private. We're happy we chose it.

Great for our party of 10, but lacked basic items

Amazing house and location. It fit 10 of us perfectly and we loved the ease to the beach. The reason I’m giving 4 stars are due to some inconveniences we experienced while at the property. The house comes with “kits” which is not enough for anyone to get by for three days. With the kits, we never received shampoo or conditioner, so we were left with having to go to the store and purchase many simple items to last 3 days. No beach towels and one towel per person, so we had to do loads of laundry, just to keep clean They didn’t have anything in the kitchen in terms of laundry pods, dish soap, trash bags, dishwasher soap or any spices/olive oil. We had to purchase many things that just ended up being thrown out, since we all flew in. Another issue is that they did not allow us to lower the thermostat below 72, which made sleeping over night uncomfortable for us. Kind of silly that we spent so much to not be able to control our temperature. If I were driving into this location, these small issues wouldn’t be a big deal but due to us all flying with carry on bags, these were extreme inconveniences for us.

Fabulous trip to Charleston and Isle of Palms...

Our travel club has been taking trips together for 35+ years and this is the first destination and experience where all want to do it again next year! The house was beautiful and in an excellent location to enjoy the beach and gave us easy access to all of the history and tourist items in the Charleston area!
