2026 Beach Update: The City of Isle of Palms is carrying out a beach renourishment project, expected to move along the beach in sections between summer and fall 2026. Because crews work steadily down the shoreline, any impact to a specific area is temporary, and the beach stays open with access outside active work zones. A final schedule hasn't been released yet — we're tracking updates and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates. Please note that Summer Dunes Lane 3 does not include community pool access. The pools at the Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and Sweetgrass Fitness Center are reserved for resort hotel guests only. Wild Dunes does not have a central pool open to all visitors.

🔇 Noise Ordinance

Isle of Palms enforces a noise ordinance from 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM. Please keep voices, music, and outdoor noise to a respectful level during these hours.
