Isle o Palms Stay3

Our family enjoyed our stay at this VRBO very much. There were 12 of us in all ranging from 7 months to 59years old and everyone was very comfortable. The house was very clean and well appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. Unfortunately the storm which, preceded us, dumped a lot of sand and debris into the pool so we didn't really use it until it was cleaned towards the end of our stay. The location was wonderful too, we were able to enjoy the beach and the Marina a few times, including a very nice dinner at Island71, and were still able to spend a fair amount of time in Charleston and other area attractions. It would have been nice to have a few more towels available but, that was just a minor inconvenience.

Outside needs work

Property inside nice, but beware there are a lot of stairs! The living room needs more comfortable seating- the furniture had been changed since we booked the property. The outside could be beautiful but the deck, screened porches and pool need a lot of work. The upper screened porch railings and floor were very dirty. There was only one bath towel per person, so we had to do laundry twice just for that and the dryer did not work well. I feel like it was overpriced given the condition of the outside.

This house was great for a family vacation. The only issue was the house is listed for sale and the owners have replaced some of the furniture and the photos have not been updated. We were not notified of these changes until the day before check in. Broken pool chairs, the living room couches were replaced by a single futon couch, limited to no patio furniture. Other than those issues it was a fantastic vacation.

Could be so much better

This home has so much potential but needs some TLC. It has a great layout, lots of sports stuff and nice appliances. But the quality of the house is not consistent- for instance, the plastic outdoor chairs are cracked and need replaced and there were leaking faucets and mold in a shower. There were a bunch of things in need of repair so I emailed a list to the property manager. I was so disappointed in her response. Not only did none of it get fixed while we were there, but she tried to explain why I was wrong about the issues and wanted me to spend my vacation time taking pictures of all the problems instead of coming to see for herself.

Girls trip to Charleston / Isle of Palms

10 friends from college rented this property for a short girls weekend by the beach. The pool and hot tub were lovely, and the beach was just a short walk. Carts were available to bring chairs and coolers to the beach. House was clean and very comfortable. Had a great weekend! Would recommend providing a few extra dish towels…as we hated to use so many paper towels. (Very Minor) We had a couple questions before and during the trip. Megan was extremely responsive and helpful.

Perfect weekend getaway house

Our group of 12 women had an AMAZING time at this house! The house is just as pretty and charming as in the photos. The pool is awesome, the walk to the beach is so short and easy. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Family vacation.

The hot tub was dirty and we didn't use it, the dishwasher we didn't use because the piece wasn't attached that the water comes out to wash, it was just laying inside of dishwasher. Hand washing for me was fine. The pool guy came Wednesday and we left on Thursday. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Engagement Weekend

Wonderful time! Plenty of room for both sides of the family for the couple getting engaged. Arrived and checked in at 3 to decorate! House was fully stocked to prepare all meals. Golf cart rental was a great perk as were supplied beach and pool gear! So much fun!!! We will be back!

My family and I had a great time here. The owners went above and beyond providing things for the house and the beach. Plenty of room for our 6 adults and 3 children. Would definitely recommend this house to others.
