Where to start….When we first walked in the place there was an unpleasant smell that I’m not sure if we got rid of, or just got used to.
Just about every door creaked like a haunted house when you opened or closed them. Even the refrigerator. So if you go to bed late, or get up early expect to wake up the rest of the house.
On our last day there, our daughter wanted to use the pool, we walked out to find a huge truck parked in the middle of the 2 car driveway, blocking our cars, with guys on ladders pruning the trees over and around the pool. This lasted from around noon till four and I only think they stopped because it started raining.
I’m not sure why this couldn’t be scheduled for the next day when we had to be out by 10am and check in for new guests is at 4pm. It felt like a bad commercial for places not to stay.
The master bathroom door is a barn door with no handle on either side. You have to push the frame of the door to open or close it. Awkward.
The griddle on the stove turns on, but doesn’t ever heat up. Again we had to find this out the hard way.
There are stickers, notes, and signs on just about everything telling you what not to do.
They really need a maintenance man to go through and fix a lot of minor details, Instead of relying on guests to be their maintenance inspector.
On a positive note, the place is sizable, nicely decorated and in a great location.
It’s really a 3.5 star but there are no half ratings, so I rounded up.
