  • Pets are welcome! The Perfect Beach Getaway! Charming, completely updated, 2 Bedroom,1 bathroom Beach Cottage! Walk to the beach, grill out on the deck under the old oak tree. This charming home has been completely updated with a new kitchen with quartz counter-tops, open floor plan and updated bathroom!
    As you open the door to this home you will notice the living room, dining room and kitchen are all open. The kitchen boast a gas stove, subzero refrigerator, open breakfast bar with stools. Off the living room is a sunroom with a twin bed. The original ship lap has been repurposed on the sunroom walls adding character and warmth. The living room has an inviting sectional with a large flat screen TV. Off the living room you will find 2 bedrooms and a full bath with a walk-in shower.
    The backyard is completely fenced in with spacious deck and gas grill.

    This home has complimentary wireless high-speed internet. TVs are streaming/smart TVs. All bed linens, towels and starter kit/ toiletries are included. 1 towel set per person is provided. Beach towels and beach chairs are not provided but are available through local Beach Chair and Umbrella Rentals. **** Starter kits/toiletries include small dish soap, small dishwasher detergent, 1-2 kitchen trash bags, 1 roll of paper towels, TP in each bathroom, starter size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, cleansing bar**** Keurig Coffee Maker provided.

    Note: Washer/dryer located in detached finished garage, located just off the back deck. IOP does not permit occupancy of any detached buildings - garage is for storage and laundry. Guests are not permitted to sleep in the detached garage.
    No Smoking, Pets are welcome with a nonrefundable $250.00 pet fee. Please be sure to scoop before you depart.

    PLEASE NOTE THAT NO PARKING IS PERMITTED ON THE STREET OR IN FRONT OF THIS HOME. THE POLICE WILL ISSUE A CITATION FOR ANY CAR NOT PARKED IN A DRIVEWAY. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS BUT DRIVEWAY ONLY.

The house was immaculately clean and very comfortable.The location on a small cul de sac was convenient and private. I do wish that part of the back deck was screened in, but would stay again regardless.

It is perfect for our family to gather and cook and enjoy the beach, IOP, and Charleston, and watch all the college football games together. Great location, awesome well stocked clean kitchen and house, dog friendly, great customer service. Can't wait to go back!

The house was cute and cozy, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the beds were comfortable. The dogs especially enjoyed the fully fenced-in yard! The house had a bunch of beach gear (wagon, chairs, shade/umbrella) to take on the super short walkto the beach. We really enjoyed the stay and hope to come back again next year.

The location is amazing & it’s the perfect amount of space for a small family! The only thing I wish would improve would be the yard maintenance. Every year that we visit this home, the yard is overgrown & that makes it tough to enjoy the yard with small kids. With that being said, it doesn’t change our love for the house- we will defiantly be back!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cute bungalow for small family. Back yard isn’t great for dogs but OK. Owner really needs to clean out the underside of the deck. Basically clean however the sofa definitely had pet odor. Why do they have the extra refrigerator in the living room? It’s not in the on line photos.

Another year- another great stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd time staying with our toddler at 6 Palm Court, and we love staying here. The layout is perfect for our small family & this place has become our home away from home! The location truly cannot be beat! So close to the beach but tucked away in a calm quiet cul-de-sac. Everything was super clean when we checked in & the check in process was smooth. The only thing that could have been improved during our trip was the yard maintenance. The grass in the front and back yards were super overgrown, which seemed to make the mosquitos worse. We got a citronella for outside, but did not seem to really help. The only other thing inside that we noticed was that the freezer seemed to be damaged/smashed. Both the fridge and freezer were in working order so we did not have issued with it, but we had to make sure we opened the freezer door carefully. We called our first day to report this to make sure we were not held accountable & to make sure it was known to the office that it was damaged. Again, we LOVE this rental. The yard & the freezer were not deal-breakers or affect our trip in a negative way, just things that could be improved to keep 6 Palm Court incredible! Already looking forward to heading back next year!

Plenty of parking and small backyard for your pup. We had a small issue and rental company responded quickly and efficiently to fix it. House was clean but the grass needed to be cut.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we first arrived there was sand and dog hair on the beds and furniture. The air conditioner didn't work. We had to have maintenance come out to fix it. The home had a strong odor of mold and mildew. The washer and dryer are located in an outside building and that also has a heavy odor of mold and mildew. When housekeeping came back to clean, they dropped of sheets and poured Pine Sol on the area rug in the living room and left.

We brought our two year old and there was plenty of room for us and everything was great. There were a few things that was outside of the control of the rental agency and they went above and beyond to make things right! The location was perfect and we loved how private it felt. We cannot wait to come back very soon!

It has been beautifully renovated and well stocked - the owners have thought of everything! We took full advantage of the short walk to the beach to enjoy beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and long walks. The location is convenient to a grocery store, movie theatre, shops, and access to other parts of Charleston. The fenced backyard was an added bonus for our dog. From the property manager to people we met on the beach, everyone was very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Separate guest cottage has a bed/bath/laundry room. Fenced in back yard. Said "pet friendly" so we wondered if it would smell that way. No! No trace or scent...and it has a fenced in back yard for your pet. We really enjoyed our time there - just 1 block from the beach.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a challenging rental experience. The house had a very strong pet smell and we found dog hair on the area rug and on the couch. Trash and dog poop found in the backyard, empty water bottles found under the bed and closets very unkempt. Small area rug smelled of urine and when I lifted it I found stains underneath. The dishwasher was unusable due to a horrible stench coming from it. The house is in a great location and is very cute but it could use a really solid cleaning.

The updates are cute and family friendly except for the fact that there is no tub for little ones. No big deal if you have bigger kids. A couple of minor things were not working while we were there (timer on stove, grill igniter), but it wasn’t a big hinderance, and we made do. The only real complaint I had about the house was the garage. When we first arrived, I opened the garage entrance and was confused because it looked inhabited. I thought I walked into someone else’s house by accident. There was trash on the floor and a very sour odor. Maybe mold? With 4 children, I had to do laundry at least once a day, and had to hold my nose while I was loading the machine. I don’t know what the deal was in there, but the main house was fine. I would still highly recommend a stay here because of the great location. It’s a super easy walk to the beach and located on a quiet, dead-end street. The back yard was also nice for families.
