This is a hidden gem and we’ll definitely be back! Very close to the beach, the golf cart and bikes was an added plus!! We didn’t get to enjoy the new pool due to weather conditions, we would have loved to hang out at it more. The back patio was set up nicely to eat dinner and hang out. Plenty of board games and books, very family friendly.

We were very impressed with this home! And very pleased with all the amenities! There was lots of information about what to do in the area. The neighborhood is very quiet.We had no problems with staying here. And if we had any questions about anything to do with this home, we just reached out to the owners and they responded right away!

A perfect home away from home

The house was well equipped with everything you need at home and then some. Not only was it comfortable and clean, but the location and proximity to the beach and Marina while being quiet and calm was perfect. The pool is absolutely amazing and made for a great place for laps, and cooling off. I would absolutely stay again without hesitation.

Highlight of our summer

We have stayed the Bruner’s house for several years now and it has become the highlight of our summer where our whole family takes a few days of vacation together. Everything is comfortable and easy - it’s like we are staying with family. Can’t say enough good things about the Bruners and their laidback beach house.

Great home in a nice area!!!

Beautiful home in a nice area near a marina and beach at Isle of Palms!! I didn’t realize you could stay somewhere with everything furnished that you could need for cooking, trips to the beach, etc. for less money than a resort. This home made us feel like residents instead of travelers and our whole family loved it. Would stay here again.

Great house and location!

The house was beautiful and roomy. The pictures don’t do it justice! We stayed with 5 adults, 3 teenagers and an 11 month old. The house was well-equipped and everyone was happy and comfortable. The baby was comfortable in the supplied crib and he enjoyed the available toys. The teenagers had fun playing ping pong and riding the bikes. The tent, chairs, wagon, and golf cart made it easy for everyone to make the short trek to the beach. The owner was helpful and communicative. Great value for money here. Would definitely book again!

Great place

Great location. Property owners were very easy to work with and very perceptive to messages and responded very quickly. The house is great. Very clean. Has everything you need for your vacation. It was so nice to not have to pack so many things since the house already had them. The golf cart was great for getting to the beach. Highly recommend.

Great trip!

The house has everything you need for a great stay and is in the perfect IOP location. Quiet and serene but easily accessible to the beach. The golf cart is a hit!

Very nice home in quiet neighborhood

Beautiful home, perfect for large families or multiple couples. If you have adult kids like I do-make sure they keep the volume down in the garage at night. Neighbors are sensitive to excess noise. Perfect spot for your time in Isle of Palms.

Great place!

Such a great place to stay, especially with a family. Plenty of space for the kids (we have 3 under 6) and they even had toys and books for the kids! Everything was organized and easy to find. The owners were kind enough to have started paper products, seasonings, etc which was such a nice touch! Lots of beach gear and a golf cart which made trips to the beach and near by playground easy. Owners were easy to contact and very responsive. Highly recommend!

Excellent house n host

The house was the cleanest of the four we have used on IOP. bug free. well stocked. fans in nearly every room. Owners were both easy to contact and work with. easily slept 8 (four were children 10 and under). golf cart. quiet street. everyone agreed this would be a great house for any group with children.

Dave and Ceil are the best of the best when it comes to property owners. They go out of their way to communicate and take care of you during your stay. And their property is lovely with many fantastic amenities.

No need to eat out!

This home was super comfortable, clean, welcoming, well stocked, and super organized. We are a family of cooks. We were able to prepare all our meals with no trouble thanks to a great supply of utensils, pots, pans, casserole dishes, etc. Beds were comfortable, towels thick, and living space perfect. We had 5 adults spending the night and 2 more regular visitors for meals and beach trips. We hope to return next year!

Best beach house in Charleston area

This is THE PERFECT beach house! It’s so close to the beach, easily walkable but why do that with the use of the golf cart?! They are beyond stocked on anything you could possibly need complete with tents, chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, toys, etc. On rainy days we enjoyed ample board games, ping pong, corn hole. If you have infants there are baby toys and swings plus baby gates on all decks for safety. The house was charming and relaxing and so clean. Plus it is so close to everything. We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this was far and above the rest. If this rental is available don’t hesitate just book it. You won’t regret it!

Tranquil place on Isle of Palms

We had a fantastic stay on Isle of Palms, largely due to this charming house. The decor makes you feel more like you are truly at home, it was exceptionally clean, and everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. It had everything we needed or could have wanted to make our stay comfortable, and the location on a quiet street allowed us all to unwind with the grand kids after a busy day at the beach or sightseeing. Ceil was also extremely helpful in answering questions and very available to help in any way needed to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Best first Beach vacation / visiting son EVER

I don’t even know how to put this into words. I can’t say enough great things about the owners and the property. Our family had never been on a beach vacation before that was longer than 24 hours, and we wanted to incorporate that first with visiting our son who is in the Navy and stationed at Goose Creek. It was THE perfect home setting for our son to visit us daily and get a break from his Power School. It was quiet, clean, and the amenities were priceless. The hot shower outside to clean off was key! The owners have made sure that EVERY SINGLE need was taken care of! From shampoo and soaps, to coffee, towels all beach necessities and anything your heart desires to cool your family a spectacular meal. The neighbors were fantastic, and having the use of the golf cart just made everything perfect. My son was so happy to have a place to come “home” to, even if it was only for a short time, and my family will never forget this week together. My kids already miss the house and the atmosphere the owners created for us. We never had to worry as their communication with us was quick and so nice. They were the perfect hosts and I can’t imagine a better run VRBO property. We are forever spoiled. Already hoping we can come back asap!!! Loved getting to know this amazing couple who didn’t hesitate to help us out when we needed an extra night to see my son. We found out they will be visiting our neck of the woods for a tennis match and can’t wait to take them out to dinner !!!

Almost perfect!

Two friends flew into town and two of us drove to spend a weekend together on the beautiful Isle of Palms. The house was perfect! We all had our own personal space and plenty of room for hanging out. I said “almost perfect” in the description because the weather was awful, which was obviously no fault of the owners. Lol. We arrived at the home early on accident and met the owners who were lovely, wonderful people. They brought us banana nut bread and we texted back and forth a few times during our stay. They were easy to get a hold of and answered any questions we had promptly. The checkout process and cleanup was a breeze. The abundance of board games came in handy during our stay as it rained and was cold most of the time. We had plenty of coffee grounds and pods, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the bidets in the restrooms were a nice touch (3/4 of us had never used them and now I don’t think we will ever not use them, haha) Highly recommend this property!

Beautiful home and great visit to Charleston area.

Our family was thoroughly impressed with the house and the surrounding area. The Bruner's home is beautiful, well kept, and very comfortable. We appreciate the fact that basic items such as towels, bath soap, toilet paper and some kitchen supplies were available. We look forward to renting this house on a future visit and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place on Isle of Palms.

Comfortable Vacation Home

The Bruner's are great folks and were extremely attentive to all our questions/requests. The house had all the small things that you want during a vacation, but don't expect the rental to deliver: Spices, Soaps, clean/orderly dishes. The house seems like it has been lived in by the hosts vs. just your typical rental. We will definitely look here first when we come back to Charleston!

Wonderful property

Great location. Although the price was a fair amount more than we have paid in past years the customer service of the owners and the cleanliness of the home really made it worth the money. Very quick drive to the beach with the golf cart and a lot of great spaces and amenities. We would definitely stay here again!
