2026 Beach Update: The City of Isle of Palms is carrying out a beach renourishment project, expected to move along the beach in sections between summer and fall 2026. Because crews work steadily down the shoreline, any impact to a specific area is temporary, and the beach stays open with access outside active work zones. A final schedule hasn't been released yet — we're tracking updates and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates. Seaside Cottage 81 is one of Wild Dunes’ most special properties — a beautifully remodeled four-bedroom home tucked right in the heart of the Seaside Cottages community, directly next to the Boardwalk Inn. The location alone is remarkable: you’re steps from the beach, steps from the pool, and steps from the golf course, restaurants, and bike trails that make Wild Dunes one of the Southeast’s most beloved resort communities.

The house itself is stunning — bright, airy, and thoughtfully appointed throughout. The wraparound front porch is perfect for morning coffee and people-watching, while the screened-in back porch is your private outdoor retreat for evenings. Four bedrooms sleeping up to ten guests make it a go-to for family reunions, girls’ trips, and multigenerational vacations that need real space to spread out.

Please note that this pool access is specific to guests staying at Seaside Cottage 81, and standard vacation rental guests elsewhere in Wild Dunes do not have access to this pool.

🏋️ Fitness

The fitness center at Wild Dunes is reserved for resort hotel guests only. We recommend the Isle of Palms Recreation Center as a fantastic alternative — featuring a cardio room, fitness classes, and brand new courts just a quick drive down Palm Blvd.

🎾 Tennis & Pickleball

Pay-to-play court time is available at the Wild Dunes Tennis Center. We also recommend the free tennis and pickleball courts at the Isle of Palms Recreation Center — just a quick drive down Palm Blvd!
