We loved our stay! Plenty of room for a family of four - could comfortably fit up to 8. The location was beautiful - great views of the ocean, just steps away. Quite beaches stretched for miles. The pool was fantastic too - like new lounge chairs and very quiet.If you’re going to make a grocery store run, do it on your way in Harris Teeter or Target - they’re a bit of a windy, slow drive away.

Most pleasant stay. We have used other units in Shipwatch through the years and 418C has been the best by far. Outside of a minor issue with the ice maker everything was perfect. I would like to inform Steve (owner) that an allen wrench adjustment needs to be made to the toilet paper holder in the upstairs front bathroom.

This property was ideal for our family of four with young kids. The property had all of the essentials needed to allow us to unwind and relax, including two "master" bedrooms on the top floor with individual bathrooms.The pool was a 30 second walk and the beach was about a 3 minute walk. Low tide at the beach was great for the kids to walk way out into the water and explore the sand bar.Restaurants and shops were a short drive, as well as marinas, boat rentals, and plenty of activities to engage in.We'd be happy to return to this rental another time!

Beautiful property.... a must book!

This property had absolutely everything we needed for a week's stay with our family, ages 5-14. The property is well maintained, and beautifully decorated/ stocked. Location was perfect with easy access to the beach and well sized pool. I would definitely recommend.

McDuff IOP Shipwatch Thanksgiving 2024 Review

Nicely renovated with upscale finishes Beautiful View of Beach Outdoor furniture on the living level was Filthy with black dirt - I spent 20 Minutes cleaning it so we could sit outside Ice maker in fridge did not work at first - had a frozen block and ice that was blocking cubes for being dispensed - I cleaned it out but it kept freezing up - not really enough nice to host family thanksgiving dinner Linens were very nice Fans were hard to figure out how to work - instructions would have been nice Living room couch was cream cloth and stained in places - not kid friendly Wine fridge was a nice feature Heat - AC easy to work and very functional 3 or our 4 kids stayed in other units so nice to be in the same complex Very please grounds and area walking trails Would rent again - a separate ice maker is needed Appreciate the Keurig coffee maker and ample toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags and dishwashing products

Perfect Family Beach Condo

This was a well appointed property that was up to date, clean, and had everything we could ask for in a beach condo property for our family vacation. The property manager/owner was very responsive. We had a few questions and reached out the first day of arrival and they responded almost immediately each time. I’d highly recommend this property for a family stay and will be staying here again on our next visit to IOP/Wild Dunes.

Beautiful place—But…

The beds were comfortable. The place was nicely decorated and kitchen was fully stocked. The views of the ocean were breathtaking! But our host, Steve could’ve been more attentive and helpful. We had issues with trying to watch the main channels live on their TV (ABC,NBC and CBS. We wanted to watch the Chiefs game on Sunday and spent hours trying to figure out how to get those channels to work “live”. I would email him because that was the only way to get a hold of the guy and he would take sometimes an hour or so to get back with me. When I asked him to call me he was very short and not very helpful. He said because it was a weekend it may take longer to get the issue fixed. Really? We were paying to stay there through the weekend. Also the cleaning could have been better. The shower curtain in first floor bathroom was dirty (or mildewed) and the floors in general were a bit sticky. Also the garbage disposal was filthy and the kitchen smelled bad until we cleaned it out with paper towels.

Fourth of July week

Beautiful property, is as described. Very Nice amenities. Host was great to work with an easy to contact. The area was extremely crowded because of the Fourth of July week, but the beach was beautiful.

Beautiful getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was clean and for the most part well appointed. The only thing we felt was lacking was additional towels and the kitchen did not have any poolsafe drinkware. The condo was quiet and looked over the beautiful pool area and expansive beach. We would stay here again.

Amazing stay over Thanksgiving

Amazing location on a gorgeous and serene beach. The Wild Dunes community was so friendly and welcoming. We had so much fun wave jumping, shell searching, and biking all over the resort. The condo was very clean, the beds comfortable, and views breathtaking. We can’t wait to come back!

65 birthday celebration.

Lovely property. Clean fresh and a great location. The bar area fabulous. These Kadence’s usually bring their own wine glasses as they are particular about th3 feel in their hands. The bar wear was perfect never seen nicer glasses for both red and white wine. Also shot glasses @nd champagne . Kleenex in bathrooms would hav3 been nice
