Stayed here for 3 nights and would definitely stay again. The house is great, especially the common area and distance to the beach. Wild Dunes is a drive from the airport / downtown Charleston, with the slow roads. Our goal was to do a destination beach getway, so this was perfect for us and our large group.

Nice cozy home

The home was great for our family vacation. The rooms were split up nicely and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out inside and outside of the house. The vicinity to the beach is unmatched for the price!

Fabulous location and a beautiful, spacious home!

Ten girlfriends and I had the best time staying at 9 Beachwood W! The check-in and check-out process were simple and convenient. The house was beautiful, clean and very spacious for the eleven of us, and just a short walk from the beach! We highly recommend this home and will definitely rebook in the future.

We all talked about coming back to it when the weather was nice and we could enjoy the beach. The layout was conducive to games and family bonding, while there was still plenty of space for privacy when the family gets too overwhelming for some. :)

Beautiful home

This was a beautiful home. It was close to both the beach and pools. The house open, beautifully decorated and had a well equipped kitchen. It had everything we needed for a nice relaxing vacation. We thought the property management could have communicated better about the check in process and responded to the voicemails we left on the Sunday after check in. I would definitely give this house a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the property management.

Whispering Oaks

Whispering Oaks was a beautiful home, spacious, meticulous, and well appointed. Perfect in every way for our family of six. The interior was bright and cheerful with an open floor plan and vaulted ceilings. The nearby beach was easily accessible down a large, pebbled path. We had a few questions during our stay, and the East Islands Rentals management team responded quickly. We look forward to a return stay and would definitely recommend Whispering Oaks to others.

The house has a great layout and we loved the big screen tvs and multiple "hang out" places. It could use some maintenance but overall we were pleased. The beach access was closed due to hurricane beach erosion but we were able to use a neighboring access which wasn't bad at all

Convient Isle of Palms; Wild Dunes location

Spacious property fit the site like a glove, intertwined with the impressive oaks. Very nice kitchen facility. Multiple levels and decks. Lots of stairs. The only thing small about this house are the bedrooms and the bathrooms. Because of the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms couple had a private bathroom, three people in two bedrooms shared another bathroom and five people in two bedrooms shared the third bathroom. We could never get the hot tub to heat up, but it did not affect our enjoyment of the property.

Isle of Palms Delight

Very nice property with recent updating. Very well appointed. Beds all very good. Multiple TVs with great viewing in the main living space. Easy walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay, but there were several minor negatives. There is a nice sunning area off the master bedroom, but the lounge chairs have no pads and are pretty uncomfortable. The hot tub is nice but it was set at 107F, which is pretty warm. Directions were provided for setting the temp, but after multipole attempts we couldn't get it turned down. Finally, there was construction going on all sides of us, so there was a fair amount of racket each day.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved this house nestled into the natural foliage and less than a two minute walk to the beach. We had two large, adult families with 9 people in total. The house easily accommodated all of us. We travel a lot and I would say that this home had the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen. High quality knives and pans to cook with. Every type of dish/glassware you can imagine. High quality blender and coffee pot. An additional refrigerator in the garage was perfect to store all of our drinks that we would pack for the beach daily. We loved the covered back porch for morning coffee or evening drinks. Clean and stunning inside. The hot tub was an extra bonus!! We would definitely come back!

Nice House but beach walkway is inaccessible

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is very nice and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the gameroom and we found everything to be comfortable. Unfortunately though, the beach access walkway is closed and apparently has been closed for quite some time. We chose this house for the short walk to the beach. The rental company told us they had been informed that it had been fixed and we should be able to walk past the closed sign. We tried that and we were then harrassed by one of the neighbors who was taking pictures of us and yelling out her window at us. An HOA member then showed up and threatened to call the police on us for "trespassing" on the community beach walkway. The whole experience became very stressful and not conducive to a relaxing vacation. We did eventually receive partial compensation back from the rental company, which I appreciate, but I think they should be transparent with people from the beginning.

15th Anniversary Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is lovely and very spacious. We were quite disappointed that neither of the two fireplaces in the home were functional. The managers were never able to locate a remote for the one in the living room and the controls did not work. The one located in the downstairs bedroom doesn't even have an insert. Being that we were visiting in February, this was one of the main features that caused us to rent this home. Not to mention, that a cold front moved in while we were there. The decks really need some maintenance and repair. It rained while we were there and although the hot tub is covered, the boards above are rotting and water leaked onto us and the bottom porch area.The neighborhood is nice and quiet (except for the construction on the house in front of us that continued until after 9:00 pm one night).The beach is just a short stroll away and we enjoyed our walks each morning.
