“Great, modern hotel. Favreau room and location. Right in the heart of the Old Town. Check in and keys are all online via an app. First time, I use a staff less hotel but it was all very smooth. Highly recommended”

“Check-in process at the Pub opposite the accommodation block was easy and straightforward. The staff were really friendly. The location was good - really close to a shopping centre if that's your thing.”

“Birchington-on-Sea is a small seaside town with a pleasant beach at Minnis Bay overlooking the Thames Estuary and the Reculver Towers further up the coast where the bouncing bombs were tested. There are a number of buildings from the interwar period or inspired by them but the jewel in the crown is the Twentieth Century Bed and Breakfast. The owners, Kat and Spencer are true aficionados of the period and is demonstrated by their commitment to the renovation of the property and the interior...

“Lovley staff and good location. Continental breakfast included. Not a lot of choices but adequate.”

“Clean room and not far from city and station & beach”

“Great value traditional B&B. Spotless room and comfy bed. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was decent - fresh coffee was amazing! Have already booked another stay!”

“I loved my stay at The Beetroot. Michael was really helpful, and lovely to meet; he also gave me an early check-in which was great. Sam who was doing work around the car park was also really nice and really helpful. The room itself was perfect - comfortable bed, great selection of teas and I loved the decor of the bathroom. The location was perfect, too - so close walking distance to everything: restaurants, cafes, the beach, and all the tourist attractions. I only wish I could have stayed...

“We have just stayed at The Albion Hotel in Broadstairs, we really enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat. The hotel is right in the middle of all the restaurants and shops, and sea front. It was lovely having a walk along the sea front in the sun this morning very relaxing. The breakfast was lovely and the room has tea & coffee facilities, everything we wanted on our weekend away loved it. Thank you”

“A one night stay. Our bedroom along with the rest of this fine establishment was excellent Clean & welcoming Pleasant bar staff & caring thoughtful host. Would highly recommend.”

“Absolutely cannot fault anything whatsoever. Responsive, proactive, clear instructions & the photos matched the facilities. Clean, comfortable & spacious. Would recommend The Powell public house in Birchington if you are either passing through to visit family & friends or just want somewhere to stay after a long walk along the many seaside promenades. Everything was within easy reach for me which was essential & I will be recommending my stay to my family and friends. Thank you so much...
