We booked this location for our family Christmas trip. The space and location were absolutely perfect for our group. We were literally across the street from the beach (the weather allowed for two days spent there!) and the balcony overlooking the street allowed us to watch and interact with the myriad of bikers, runners and those walking dogs-such friendly people. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of space for to cook and move around. I reached out to the hosts prior to booking to clarify an item and they were extremely responsive. After booking, the clear and prompt communication continued. These were probably the most responsive hosts I’ve ever interacted with. If I could give this home and its hosts more stars, I would. Absolutely recommend and we will book this location again.

Wonderful Stay

Property was just as advertised. Had everything we needed and just a short 3 minute walk to the beach. Very clean and the hosts were very responsive to questions. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Bridesmaids location

We needed someplace close to the wedding venue for our bridesmaids and bride to sleep and get ready. With 10 sleeping spots, sunny interiors and location a block off the beach for fun…it couldn’t have been better. Thoughtfully equipped with all the basics of a home, this rental was ideal. Hosts responded quickly and all was as promised. Would definitely reserve again!

Great beach getaway!

We had the best experience here. The owners were extremely responsive and accommodating. The house was perfect for our size of group and very tastefully decorated. The proximity to the beach was incredible. We would definitely stay here again!

Very spacious and well decorated place RIGHT by the beach! Walking distance to the starbucks and plenty of parking. A perfect getaway with friends!! Would definitely come back

Jacksonville Beach

There for a family wedding. Location was great to beach and wedding venue. The house was prefect for 8 of us to be together and enjoy the entire weekend in much more comfort than a hotel!

Great place to stay!

Lou and Jess were great hosts! They were very responsive to my many questions and have a lovely home. It was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is large, it was great for our group of 10.

A+ for beach proximity

The property was as described. Unfortunately due to extensive road work on the corner where the property is located, we didn't have use of the driveway and had 4 cars! Luckily the owner was able to get in touch with the town, who provided parking permits for us to use in the beach lot across the street.

Great house in a Fantastic Location!

This beach house is great for a family. It is situated in a very nice neighborhood with many shops, markets and restaurants an easy walk away....less than 5 minutes. The biggest attraction of all, of course, is the Beach and its right across the street! Beautiful ocean sunrises and the tranquil sounds of crashing waves are seen and heard from 2 cozy beachside balconies. Additionally, a generously sized ground-floor patio, also on the beachside is a great spot to take in the sights and sounds. The kitchen is well appointed with everything we needed to prepare and serve meals. Beds are comfortable and bedrooms nicely furnished. We had an issue with improperly mopped floors....they were dirty! The owner was very apologetic and responsive. He refunded our cleaning fee which was a very nice gesture. One other issue was an inoperative washing machine. Unfortunately we did not use and thus discover this until our final night there so our plan to depart there with clean clothes for the remainder of our vacation caused some inconvenience for us down the road. While there was nothing much the owner could do at this point, he did tell us a new washer was already in the works so this should not be a problem going forward. It would have been nice if we had been informed of the washer issues ahead of time so we could have planned around it. I think it's unrealistic to expect perfection when dealing with hired help and machines with moving parts and we were satisfied with the owner's concern. I got the distinct impression that these 2 issues have already been addressed and should not befall any future renters. The takeaway here is you have a hands-on owner who is nearby to address any issues...not some detached property management company. The bottom line is this is a great place to stay in a fantastic location made even better by caring, responsive owners.

Family Thanksgiving Get-A-Way

This property was a perfect location on the beach but still close enough to have Thanksgiving with my brothers family in Nocatee. Clean, central to beach attractions, and driving distance to every place we wanted to see while visiting. Thank you Lou and Jessica for a great condo

Clean and fresh!!!!! Although your across the street from the Ocean. The beach access is across the street and an ocean view from your front windows. The area seems very family friendly. The three levels gave us space from our teen kids and their friends. We will surely stay here again !

Charming Beachfront property

Awesome Beach Home with easy access to the beach and great views from 3rd floor master.

This was the perfect place for our family to enjoy time together and also enjoy the beach too with easy access to and from the beach. It is very well equipped with pretty much all you will need. Very nicely decorated. It made us feel right at home. Thank you Jessica and Lou for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful beach home.

A Wonderful Place to Stay!

Clean, very comfortable, well-stocked, and wonderfully located! The owners have obviously tried to anticipate and provide for the needs of their guests. We were all pleased with the comfort of the accommodations from the living room to the beds to the chairs on the deck and the balconies. Very relaxing space. The stairs are a little steep, so the elderly will want to be careful. One child gate is provided, but two are really needed with toddlers around, since the kitchen/living areas open to both staircases. The beach is super close and easily accessible, as is the business district with stores and restaurants. Loved this Vrbo and will definitely want to stay here the next time we visit Jacksonville Beach. Thank you, Jess and Lou!

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The walk to the beach can't be beat for a second row property. The decks are perfect to enjoy the ocean and sip some coffee. The property is updated nicely and well stocked. They even had umbrellas, chair, beach toys, boogie boards, pack and play and baby gate which were wonderful!! We took our sitter with us and the division of the bedrooms was nice to have her downstairs and the rest of us upstairs. I loved having the laundry on the floor with 2 of the bedrooms. Parking is super nice and easy to load and unload. I loved having the blue door when we ordered food and groceries it was easy to identify. Jessica was a great host. She was quick to respond with any questions we had and really friendly. The only negative thing I have to say is there was new construction across the street which is a bummer because the view wasn't as clear as we expected, but that isn't anything the owners can help. It was a lot more peaceful to sit outside on the weekend when the workers weren't working - again not Jessica's fault and won't be an issue when they are finished the building. We absolutely loved our stay and wish it was longer! We are already talking about going back.

We were in town for the TPC Sawgrass Golf tourney and this location was perfect. The house was very roomy, clean, comfy and cute! The Jax Beach area is cool with lots nearby! We will def be back! The owners were quick to respond and helpful.
