Great place to stay. We had 4 couples there for a week. The layout has great views and plenty of space. The owners are very responsive to questions and everything was as expected.

This is a beautiful property with gorgeous views! There was plenty of room for our large family group to spread out but also plenty of room for us to gather for meals, conversation, and game time. The roof top deck was perfect for relaxing and for family photos! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook large breakfasts. The property was clean. The host was readily available and responded to messages promptly. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was great. It was well appointed with an amazing view. It should be noted, however, that there are lots of steps which could be challenging for the elderly and physically challenged individuals. Otherwise it is a perfect getaway.

The house is beautiful and accurately described in the pictures. Our extended family was able to spread out and gather together as needed and everyone had a lovely private space. Kitchen has everything we needed. The area is quiet and not crowded- we felt like we had our own private beach with stunning sunrises.

The property is clean, spacious and tastefully decorated; perfect for our family vacation that included five adults and four children. The teens had their own area with two queen beds, bathroom and washer/dryer. The master suite is massive so we flipped a coin for it. Truly a wonderful space.

Our family very much enjoyed this property. The property owner was very timely and helpful when responding to requests. The home has incredible views, and the living area on each of the three floors provides family members their own quiet spaces. I especially loved the very well appointed kitchen. The dinnerware and silverware were plentiful and of great quality, as well as the cookware. Some of the mattresses could use a refresh. We would stay here again!

Great beach house for a group! We had 10 people and never felt crowded. The home is right on the beach and well equipped. It’s about a 1 min walk to the beach (right out the back door) and 15 min car ride to downtown. The hosts were great and communicative. We never needed anything during our stay. Would recommend!

We were a group of 11 ladies all 60+ ages. We take getaway Mah Jongg trips at least twice a year. The Mermaid Castle fulfilled all our requirements. The ladies never stopped talking about how awesome our house was. The beach was right there. Many walked every morning and several rented chairs and spent hours in the sun. We all enjoyed the early morning sunrises. Not only is it on the beach but it is a beautiful and well appointed home, but the extras made our stay exceptional. The kitchen has everything you need and then the some. The hosts kept in touch with us and answered our questions quickly. Definitely recommend this "castle" for a large group or large family and would surely rent again if ever back in Fernandina Beach.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the property. The house is amazing and the view incredible. Everything from check in to check out went very well. We had a few small issues, but Matt took care them almost immediately. We will return one day to enjoy the house, beach, sunshine and great weather again.

The house and views are stunning! The house was well equipped for 10 adults, and we cooked several meals in the wonderful kitchen. We enjoyed walking on the beach and used the beach chairs and umbrellas. Even saw dolphins one morning from the balcony. The only issue we had was we could not locate extra linens for the fold out couch beds. Overall great stay and would certainly recommend!

What a beautiful and perfectly appointed beach house! Great work spaces, too, which was very helpful to my husband and me who had to work during most of our stay. The beach is fantastic for walking. The only downside for us, which is not the fault of the owners at all, is that the house is not near the downtown area which is really charming, so every time we went out for dinner we had a 15-20 minute drive. But overall, the house was ideal!

Celebrated 60 at the Mermaid Castle with Girlfriends. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and beach views amazing. Perfect retreat for a family or friend holiday together with many private areas to have alone time if needed. The sunrise from the top terrace was spectacular!

This house has everything and is gorgeous! The amazing walks on the beach for the sunrise were stunning! Jenny was a dream to communicate with. The most memorable is the master wing! We didn't want to leave!

We had such and amazing getaway. This was such a gorgeous and well maintained property. The hosts were awesome and communication was top-notch. I would recommend this property hands down. You will not be disappointed, as it exceeded my expectations.
