Centrally Located & Comfortable Home

  • Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. It is a newly renovated unit with plenty of old school Florida home vibes. This house is one unit in a quadplex.

    Location location location!
    8 blocks from the ocean.
    10 minute walk to the bar & restaurant scene.
    15 minute drive to Mayo Clinic.

    This is a bottom unit that is apart of a quadplex. You will have guests living above you and may be able to hear light footsteps during your stay. The upper flooring is cork padded flooring so it is rather quiet but you will be able to hear footsteps from time to time.

    There is a key code to enter the unit.

    I live nearby and am available if needed at a moments notice. Check in is contactless and we will not need to interact in person unless you need something.

    The house is in a quiet neighborhood on a road full of multifamily homes. It is a straight shot to the beach, only about a 10 block walk.

    Driving is normal but biking around is the best! There are a couple different companies that rent bicycles.

    You can also get Ubers and Lyfts very easily. There is an app called Beach Buggies that you can download that offers free rides in the beach area only (please tip your driver though!).

    The unit is a downstairs unit in a quadplex. There are other guests staying in the same home but your unit is completely private. Kind of like a very small apartment building.

    CANCELLATION POLICY: There is a 5% cancellation fee for all bookings to cover processing fees.

Cozy and convenient

Perfect for Mayo Appointments

The stay was in a great location, safe and close to Mayo Clinic. The place was nice and clean and just right for a simple stay. The property manager was very nice, too.

It worked out well for us. But I had to spend too much time at Mayo so my wife was bored.

It was certainly better than a motel. Could have used more than one hand towel and more info about restaurants and attractions nearby.

Cozy apartment

The apartment is in located in a safe residential neighborhood. You are just minutes from the beach…walking and it such a nice area for walking. This property is perfect for a short, quiet get away.

Grea Place

The place was great, it is exactly how it shows in pictures. Easy to find, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood felt very safe and the apartment was centrally located within a couple miles of anything you could need. We are in Jacksonville a few times a year and will look to stay here again the next time we visit.

Good location

This rental is well located, walking distance to beach. Easy access as well. The unit is on lower level so we could hear people walking or moving furniture above. Beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and wagon were available, which was very nice. There were no spices in the kitchen though and the bed was noisy. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Good beachy stay close to Mayo

Great: PERFECT LOC- walk to beach, pier, local beer & bites, short drive to Mayo. Big windows, minimalist decor, cute kitch, beautiful, clean shower/bathroom/towels, comfy, clean bed, quiet OVERNIGHT. Not so great: Unit number to right of door doesn’t match number to left on mailbox. Confusing when tired from a 7hr drive but easy fix. Entered to foul odor, floor, table & kitchen (glasses, fridge) not cleaned, sofa & throw blanket which was in closet REEKED (vomit, BO)-no way could a cleaner NOT smell that. At 7:15am, 10’ +/- next door contractors started re-siding their house, yelling, smoking weed. The host was friendly and responsive but said he accommodated me w/a 1 night stay, but there wasn’t a 2+ night stay min & this wasn’t a same day booking, so that didn’t make sense. Said he didn’t know about construction or that unit wasn’t cleaned. As a fellow host, I cut him slack. Maybe he doesn’t live nearby, no camera visible outside. But I CHECK when my cleaner comes & goes via an inexpensive security camera. I had to clean the table, hold nose, put towels on sofa to sit! I travel to Jax once a month & would’ve considered staying here again (lovely place, perfect loc) had the host returned the cleaning fee or even offered to comp JUST the cleaning fee on my NEXT stay, but he made it sound like he did me a favor, said he made no $ on my stay! I’ve spent a lifetime in hospitality, so I can say that was unprofessional & a comp IS the right thing to do, the bare minimum.
