Loved the views. Comfortable seating and beds. Nice having handle bars in shower since there was a tub to step into. Convenient walk ramp option to unload luggage. Nice walkable beach. Friendly host.

The view and the property themselves are great. However the condo itself needs some repairs. Its not so much that it needs "updated" but needs things fixed, from missing blinds (there is little to no lightbblocking in master bedroom so be prepared for full sun first thing in the morning) to rusting bath tub, patches and paint needed on walls, broken lamp shade etc. The rental company contacted us before we checked in saying a bathroom light cover was missing but they had that on order. I thought that was kinda funny because i wouldnt have even noticed with all the other things missing or broke (2 of the 6 bathroom bulbs were brunt out).Over all the rental company people were very nice and responsive. The condo was missing any beach umbrellas (i had called a few days prior to make sure it would have one) and with in a few hours they delivered one to the condo. The tv in the master bedroom was broken and they offered for someone to come out and look at it right away, though we declined because we didnt need it.The king and queen mattresses were comfy, lots of towels and blankets provided. The condo wasnt dirty per say but it definitely was a very rushed cleaning job. We found lots of pet hair on areas that should have been cleaned.

The biggest pro was the location. Easy access to the pool and beach. The beach and ocean was beautiful. A lot of pretty shells everywhere!The only con was not having a clear picture of where an extra vehicle was allowed to park. The initial check-in instructions say there is only one vehicle allowed per condo and extra parking is designated elsewhere, but no diagram or instructions of where that is (that I could find). I reached out and was told that it was at another complex about 0.8 miles down from Turtle Dunes. I just wish that would have been more clear. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and hope to be back soon.

Don’t rent with these people

The unit at turtle dunes was outdated and totally not worth the money we spent. I called repeatedly to Amelia Island vacations, and was promised that the property manager would get back to me but here she never did.! Called repeatedly and no one ever answered – so I left voicemails, but they never responded to them. I will use Vacasa next time.

Great get-away spot

We were looking for a place to get away to for spring break. We found this spot on Vrbo and booked the property. Very easy booking process. We were delighted to find that it was surprisingly not a crowded beach for mid March… very nice to not have hundreds of people crowded around you. Property was nice; pool was clean; lots of walking and biking trails available onsite. (Only negative was the maintenance guys working from a boom lift in front of, and on one day, ON our balcony, 4 of the 6 days we were there.) Well definitely consider this property again when in the area.

Great Ocean View

Beautiful Beach, Disappointing Rental

We were disappointed that the Turtle Dunes pool was closed for repairs for the entirety of our stay. Then, the master bedroom ceiling leaked buckets of water for 2 days. Stains on the carpet, and broken lamp shades gave the unit a less than clean feeling overall.
