“The trip was interesting. The check in process would have gone smoother if we had the combination to the lock box. A nice touch would have been if the host had meet us at the property, welcomed us to the property and it would have saved some frustration trying to get into the room. Communication would have gone smoother if we had a telephone number. Texting and emails are rather impersonal. “The cabin was exactly like it was described. The room was clean and well decorated. The cabin was right on the river. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony that overlooked the water. We were going to go canoeing, but the canoes were too heavy (for females) to carry to the river. There is some traffic noise, but the view and atmosphere makes up for it. We would definitely go back. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“We were in Jefferson for the Civil War Reenactment and this house was perfect for our stay. It was across the street from one of the reenactor encampment locations and a short, easy walk to the downtown area. Even though it was close to everything, it was quie6 and peaceful. The house is beautiful and plenty large enough for a fwmily. Check in, check out super easy. The owner is very quick to answer questions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next year.”

“Property is secluded and relaxing, no noise but the birds singing. The host (Rebecca) was very responsive. We had an issue with the frig not cooling properly and had someone out the next morning who made the repair. The house is spacious and comfortable, I highly recommend this property if you want to unwind, disconnect, and relax.”
